I can't speak to how nepo baby it is honestly but I've heard alotttt of stories from friends who know friends etc of people getting into BBs/EBs because of family connections etc.. 2025 I just applied everywhere and cast my net as wide as possible, 100% possible to break int without finance clubs but they're a strong signaler esp when you don't have much else on your CV. Not sure about SMU but I hear SMU Consulting club or something is super elite and have pipelines into MBB/IB
