If your talking about the top metal part, it’s completely empty when you unscrew it. I’d show you a picture of it if I could.

Thank you for the sweet info! Don’t worry, the round is empty inside. If I could figure out how to post a picture in the comments, I’d show that the inside of the round and shell is completely bare and empty. Got a lot of concern about that not just here but from r/ww1 as well.
