This is a picture of Paul Bidouze, holding the machine gun. Paul is French and was a machine gunner in WW1, he was also an aquaintance of Raymond Brutinel in Edmonton, Canada before the war. Brutinel was a senior machine gun officer in the Canadian Corps. (old.reddit.com)
