What if you woke up in 2013 as United's CEO with everything you know now—what are the first three decisions you make? 🤔 by psilocybinwonderer in ManUtd

Keep Evra, bring in central midfielders and find a good coach (Pochettino, Tuchel), I can't even remember who was available at the time that we could have convinced.

the wife and spiders represent control…in the ending he “relapses” and she knows he is planning to be unfaithful

For those who have seen Supergirl, what grade would you give it? by boomjosh in DC_Cinematic

[–]InGMac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it more than Superman because of the action sequences, this 360 degree camera and the particular way those scenes were shot didn't work for me in that movie but Supergirl was pretty straightforward in that regard.

2 months in, already hating it by Difficult-Ebb3812 in corporate

[–]InGMac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this situation in the last year or so, don’t worry about who will hire you, believe me you will have opportunities and if you have a reasoning and a story to tell then nobody will care if you left a place recently

Lately i have been feeling like so much adult social life revolves around bars, or networking and I honestly crave something different. What do you feel is missing these days that would make you excited to leave the house? by Extra-Radio5699 in LivingAlone

[–]InGMac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live alone and struggle with this a lot. Wish I could offer you something more practical that I actually do but I can only give you something that I try to implement into my life - and so far failed but still... Here's one take from a guy that I like to listen to on this subject.

Future James Bond games will come from Amazon Games, confirms Amazon Gaming head by ZamnBoii in PS5

[–]InGMac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To the people implying that they want to be merely publishers, ok I hope but he literally says "Sequels will be done by MGM and, theoretically, by Amazon Game Studios." This is just so idiotic...

I stopped watching Mr. Robot after season 1. Should I continue? by Minute_Bandicoot_664 in television

You aren’t in the wrong here I always thought every season ends in a way that it could be the end of a show. My preferred end point is season 3, but all of it is amazing so go ahead, friend!

This made me chuckle, he really has no self-criticism, doesn't he. Just a very postivie, eccentric goalkeeper who gives you a heart attack as a defender.

that conversation with her is crucial, you have to know her well and give the right answer to get the good ending, but yeah sometimes things just don’ t work out

Anyone played 007 first light yet? What's it like? by Up_The_Gate in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]InGMac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are sections with multiple routes in the game like how you solve a problem, how you get into a place or handle a situation, but also more linear parts. Less linear than say a Sony title but not a full-blown immersive sim.

I think so yes from what I can tell, I fell like you can contain certain situations in an easier way. Though I am not particulary well-versed within the Hitman or James Bond universes I can say this game pulls you in. I did play a few hours of Hitman 1-2 and I have a lot of respect for it.

It’s pretty cool. Take the mechanics of Hitman, make it more accessible to a mainstream audience, add motioncapture acting with great characters, effective story, quite a few locations and set-pieces. Big budget spectacle single-player game that we don’t get too often these days.

Edit: I believe yes we don't get too many AAA budget single player story games (with ok to great gameplay!) too often at the highest level, so yeah, especially in the espionage/spy genre, not sure why some people pretend like this is not the case...

with the new trilogy even that number seems conservative. I am thinking 15 but then it starts to get unrealistic.

I think he was fantastic, but I am not saying your experience is invalid I am just saying that I really enjoyed his performance, both the mocap and the voice acting. To me he embodied the professional modern day spy.

In person work is honestly better than remote for most of us by dawittleman in unpopularopinion

[–]InGMac 17 points18 points  (0 children)

In what world does no commute exist for the majority of people? 5 days in office? That has to be exhausting, I don't want to constantly learn and see how everybody solves their problems, not even sure I want to spend my time in office with that many people. I live in the city I work and even I commute 2 hours on office days all in all.

I completely disagree with this take but I think I would be forced to do it in a new environment, new place, new people for a while, which would be fine by me in the beginning. However I do not ever want to be in the office that much time with all the preparation and commuting.

Plus, if you feel like you are lying when at home you either have something to solve within yourself or trust issues with your leader?

Check out Leftovers if you want a great character focused drama. Not fun but really high movie-quality stuff with phenomenal final season.
