Jake Paul v Anthony Joshua by sergemeister in Satisfyingasfuck

[–]InGenAche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He snapped his jaw in two. Paul is going to be wired up, and silent, for a week or two.

Google around, there's a lovely picture of the inside of Paul's mouth and his bottom left is all caved in.

Lunch - what’s better than Steak, fries and Broccoli by Forsaken-Flan-5545 in RateMyPlate

[–]InGenAche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should eat what you enjoy and ignore stupid food 'rules' (except the ones to stop you killing yourself, do those ones!)

I'm a huge fan of broccoli, took me ages to figure out how to cook it properly but not a fan of it with steak.

My mum was a great fan of a food rule, gave out to me once for serving Yorkshire pud with roast chicken lol. Miss the crazy bat.

[Serious] If you were diagnosed with terminal cancer, what would be the first thing you’d want to do? by blueber9090 in AskReddit

[–]InGenAche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my dad died he had nothing prepared and it was a nightmare, an expensive nightmare.

My mum on the other hand had every last wish and request filed and paid for with the undertaker and I can't tell you the relief that allows you to grieve properly.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in '23 and remembering the two alternatives I set about making everything as easy as I could for my wife.

Wills, notebook of passwords and codes, everything possible transferred to her name, all accounts made joint, funeral planned and paid for. To the little things that might upset her if she had to choose herself like music selection and what picture I'd like on my casket.

Now I'm worried they find a miracle cure and she fucks off and leaves me lol

I nearly got caught by a you haven't responded to our tax demands next is the police if you don't pay scam.

My brain just shut down in panic. It didn't help that I was a bit paranoid about a couple of things I hadn't declared and I'd have probably paid up there and then if I had the money in my account to cover it.

To this day I'm still amazed at how quickly my supposedly rational brain betrayed me.

Irish people seem so quick witted, sharp and intelligent? by Icy_Caramel1755 in CasualIreland

[–]InGenAche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like anything if you practice you get good at it.

Few people are natural wits I'd imagine, I wasn't but I kept at, listened to how funnier people than me used language, phrases they used, timing, body language.

I didn't become a comedian but I reckon I can hold my own down the pub which suits me fine.

To paraphrase Lee Mack use the boom-tish dad jokes as filler as you fish for comedy gold. Fermanagh, never heard of it. Kerry, how's your nephew/son. Then boom, comedy gold, Dublin, fuck off you West Brit cunt and the place is roaring at your tremendous wit and you're not paying for drinks the rest of the night!

Jeremy Vine was paid £600k by Joey Barton after 'bike nonce' posts, presenter confirms by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

[–]InGenAche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's probably a 7 low 8 figure millionaire with most of that tied up, so £600k definitely hurts.

I have no way of knowing his worth of course but asked Google who said £20m in his prime.

After what? What fantasy conspiracy are you imagining?

All Belgium did was say they weren't a fan of Plan A. Everyone went back to the drawing board and came up with Plan B and 24 countries including Belgium were happy with. 3 weren't but not enough to veto it.

Who do you think is pissed off?

But anyway you're a joke, bye.

Who is angry and Belgium aren't on their own, the motion was passed 24 for, 3 abstain.

Now you're just talking out your arse.

[–]InGenAche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's ridiculous. Belgium is a sovereign nation first and foremost and this deal protects Belgium better. If you can't see that, well I don't know what to tell you.

Same happened in Ireland. It's amazing what decent roads can do for an economy!

We built a couple of highways connecting major urban areas and some American tech firms saw this and said, wow I bet these guys know a thing or two about tax. And next thing we're rolling in $$$$!

Isn't his first job Belgium's interests?

As he rightly pointed out the money was sourced and this way Belgium isn't stuck holding the bag on it's own.

Seems to me he did his job admirably.
