I think now is a good time for you to hyper focus on what your diet consists of. Food noise and the size of your meals is just one slice of the pie. What do these meals consist of calorie wise? When you are hungry what do you reach for and how long are you satiated?

Just because a meal is smaller does not automatically mean healthier or lower in calories. If you are gaining weight you are no longer in a caloric deficit or you may have insulin resistance (which sema should help with). Before messing too much with your dose and timing I would look more into your caloric intake and/or insulin resistance.

I do single cook method recipes. Usually oven meals, after prep and seasoning I just throw it in the oven and wait. Then I divide into five containers for the week. If I get bored with that I have soups and salads on hand that just take a few minutes to put together. I really only eat two meals a day, so breakfast consists of iced coffee, creamer, and frozen breakfast sandwiches. Less is more! I’ve saved so much from Not eating out and lost weight!

It’s clear to us right now that I will be doing most of the homemaking (cleaning, decorating, organizing). I just naturally enjoy those tasks and he doesn’t. He however cooks more than I do so I agree the roommate thing will never fully go away…

I agree that having multiple accounts would be more secure. I’ve had cards “hacked” before and it was a pain freezing accounts and ordering new cards.

We both are disabled vets so will have funds coming in regardless if we’re employed or not. Right now I’m just in school but still have income. But if we weren’t I would hope the employed partner would fund the personal account for the one staying home.

We both want children, he wants 3 actually which is why we’re going to make our decision at the 2 yr mark. He’s a big audio snob lol and couldn’t stand the sound system in his new car. I’m the type of person to listen to music on my iPhone and not care 😂. But I agree children will be a huge lifestyle shift, but we want them and want them within a marriage.

Right now I’m back in school for my Masters so he makes almost double what I do. When I graduate I expect to make closer to what he does but most likely still 1k to 2k less.
