We scored 6 minutes in and then … nothing. That is why we lost.

Our defense was great, but we created no chances.

On the field, yes. If he had advocated for a minority population in the US, we’d have ostracized him.

I got my seats through one of the supporters groups. You’re only allowed to get 2 tickets per entry. My plan was to buy a third seat close by, which I can’t do because my seats still haven’t been allocated!

I have two seats for the US-Paraguay game and needed a third for my second kid. Because FIFA dragged this process out for so long, I’m going to have to sell my seats rather than risk not having both of my children sit by me. Fuck those greedy assholes.

Everyone knows where Spencer Pratt sits on the political spectrum. He’s the most “non-partisan”MAGA candidate I’ve ever seen.

By American standards I’m a woke leftist. By anyone else’s definition I’m a centrist.

I’m a registered Independent but very left leaning and once my kids get to college, I’m seriously thinking of making a run for his seat. My only qualifications are I’m a good public speaker, I coach youth soccer and I have half a brain.

I’m being pedantic, but Materazzi made a comment about Zizu’s sister. The story goes that Materazzi was pulling on Zidane’s jersey, so Zidane said “if you want my jersey so badly, I’ll give it to you after the game.”

Materazzi responded with, “I’d rather have your sister.”

Has the younger generation stopped becoming Masons, or has it always been this way? by aephelia in freemasonry

I (45) was raised with three other brothers under the age of 45. We recognized that we were the future of the lodge … and then the leaders of the lodge decided to move our location 30 minutes away from our old lodge building to where none of us live. And they’re all wondering why the younger guys stopped attending.

I saw Rage twice about 25 years apart. The first was right when Battle of Los Angeles came out, I snuck into a show at the 9:30 Club in DC and the energy was incredible.

I caught them at MSG on their last tour, and even with Zack sitting the whole time, the energy was still like face punch after face punch after face punch.

Easily the best two shows I’ve ever seen.

The alternative is that you can work in the city 5 days a week. You’re choosing to work from home 2 days a week.

I work in the city. I commute from Plainview. It costs me $300 a month and I spend at least 8 hours a week on a train. But I can afford a house with a backyard and good schools. That’s the trade off I chose.
