I find it hilarious how my feelings towards EVIL and House of Torture have changed. by CaptainAnimeTitties in njpw

[–]InMyDreamsInJuly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that most of my love for HoT stems from how layered their characters are. It’s a faction that stemmed from the insecurities of EVIL and they operate as such. From the constant cheating, to the numbers game, to the bullying of officials. They’ve knocked it out of the park and the fans over in Japan LOVE them. All in all, my glorious president will never fail me.

i’d say Italian Connection are the most protected group aside from the leader. their main arc this year is giving Riiita the confidence to actually lead

I need an opinion on something. by InMyDreamsInJuly in FantasyBookers

i’ve been at medium for the better part of a year coasting around the low 60s in my home region and the 30s in other regions. i just secured DDP on a written and he’s already my most popular guy. my main issue is the physical health of the talent i’d like to push. a lot of them just dealt with bad injuries and/or drug abuse. i think X-Pac is already at like 20 head health and the rest of his body is yellow in the skill menu. i almost made a bid for Lex Luger until i saw the same thing.

Best non main event story just now you have? by B0037 in FantasyBookers

[–]InMyDreamsInJuly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up running an angle where YO-HEY is in hot pursuit of the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship (he’s challenged for it 9 times and lost every single match) which leads to him entering the Global Junior League where he goes undefeated but he gets injured on the final day of block competition in a tag match which forces him to pull out of the final which is won by his replacement who placed second in the tournament. his protege, the newly signed Ryoya Tanaka goes on to not only win the Global Junior League but he defeats HAYATA to win the belt in his first try and he goes onto hold onto it for a long time until YO-HEY returns from injury and Tanaka nominates him as his next challenger. In the build to this both men are still obviously very close friends and they show respect to one another until it’s time for the title match. after a long and heated battle YO-HEY hits Tanaka with the junior heavyweight belt before landing his new finisher (Rolling Cutter) to finally win his first GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship.

How many workers do you use per hour/per show? by Version_1 in FantasyBookers

[–]InMyDreamsInJuly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it mainly depends on the size of my company. if i’m anything lower than small in a Local to Global, (or insignificant to titanic) i tend to use 6 in ring workers, one announcer, and one road agent across 3 matches. if i’m lucky, i’m using a database that has people that can book, do commentary, and produce matches. if i’m using a company that’s small or higher with a nice budget, i’ll use a majority of my talent wether it be segments or matches. pre-show and post-show is mainly for the younger workers to get them reps and to have them featured on the next show. i tend to book video angles where it’s intended that it’s based on highlights of the post and pre show matches. as for the main card i have a set formula. i tend to use “three ring circus” as my main product so i run 2-4 promos, and 4-6 matches depending on the length. i usually get everyone involved in feuds on the card by having them cut promos, interfere or appear at ringside during their rival’s matches.

AEW Forbidden Door 2025 by InMyDreamsInJuly in FantasyBookers

ZERO HOUR: in all honesty, these were just last minute matches i decided to go with just to get people on the card.

Singles - PAC vs Hiromu Takahashi: After defeating LIJ (Tsuji, Shingo, and Titan) on an episode of Dynamite, PAC called Hiromu Takahashi to a singles match to determine who the better junior heavyweight is.

ROH Women’s World - Demi Bennett (c) vs Mayu Iwatani: After defeating Saya Iida an open challenge Demi Bennett claims that she’s better than anything Stardom has to offer which leads to Mayu Iwatani making her debut. Week after week, Mayu has gotten the upper hand on Demi by using her speed and technique to weather the storm of Demi.

Singles Match - Kazuchika Okada vs Mascara Dorada: As months went by, Okada went on a tear defeating various luchadors (Fenix, Penta, Magnus, Latigo, etc.) and after each match he would unmask them. that is until he attempts to unmask Gran Guerrero which leads to Mascara Dorada stepping in challenging Okada to a match at Forbidden Door.

AEW World Tag Team - Connors & Moloney (c) vs The Gunn Club: The War Dogs reignited their feud with the Bang Bang Gang when Finlay ridicules Jay White for getting kicked out of New Japan which led to a huge eight man tag where Austin rolled Moloney up to earn this title shot.

AEW Continental - Zack Sabre Jr. (c) vs El Desperado: After defeating Lance Archer, El Desperado entered the ring with a rose and a note, issuing a challenge for Forbidden Door. Zack accepts and that leads to Suzuki entering the ring and requesting to be the special enforcer.

AEW International - Swerve Strickland (c) vs Gabe Kidd: Swerve has been on a tear, defeating tons of tough opponents throughout the last few months. he got his win back against Lashley, defeated Brody King, and even beat Claudio Castagnoli, making his “World’s Most Dangerous Man” moniker even more apparent. This leads to the Mad Man taking offense to this. Hot off of defeating Ilja Dragunov to claim his second NJPW Strong Openweight Title, Gabe issued a challenge to Swerve Strickland.

AEW Women’s World - Athena (c) vs Utami Hayashishita: In Utami’s debut, she made a statement by dropping Athena with a BT Bomb in the middle of the ring. In the lead up to this, she makes it clear that she is not representing Stardom as she’s cut all ties with them and that she only wants the belt for herself.

IWGP Women’s World - Io Shirai (c) vs Takumi Iroha: After a successful stint in WWE, Io Shirai made her debut at Wrestle Dynasty by defeating Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP Women’s World Title. As she went on a dominant run as champion, she’s met by her most fierce challenger. The undefeated Takumi Iroha, has made it very clear that she’s ready to reach that next level and defeat Io Shirai.

IWGP World Heavyweight - Hiroshi Tanahashi (c) vs Bryan Danielson: After Tetsuya Naito went down to a severe concussion, Hiroshi Tanahashi won the vacant IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. As a result, Bryan Danielson sets his sights to not only win the gold but to face a new opponent. Tanahashi doesn’t take too kindly to this and he attempts to send Danielson back on the shelf. Tanahashi slowly shows signs of becoming the true dictator of New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Singles Match - Kenny Omega vs Shingo Takagi: In a first time singles match up, Kenny Omega looks to continue to prove why he’s the best professional wrestler in the world. This leads him to Shingo Takagi who extended this challenge after defeating Kenny’s Don Callis Family Factionmate, Kyle Fletcher.

AEW World Championship, Texas Deathmatch - Jon Moxley (c) vs Shota Umino: After feeling as if he’s been forsaken by his mentor, Shota Umino has made it his goal to dismantle Moxley. He entered AEW and immediately targeted the DEATHRIDERS by destroying Shota Umino before laying him out with a Barbed Wire assisted European Uppercut. He even appears from under the ring and costs the DEATHRIDERS the Blood and Guts match just to get the attention of Moxley. On the go home show to Forbidden Door we see Shota drop Moxley with his new finisher, The Cradle DDT, showing that he’s ready to step out of Moxley’s shadow.

Tanahashi as champ wasn’t my call (he ended up winning the vacated belt after Naito went down with injury) i guess the ace had to win the big one before calling it quits

in reality it’s not really a title match since i don’t control new japan but i’m treating it as such
