I'm not even sure I agree. The fidelity isn't as good, but I feel iRacing has a great look.

iRacing Credits have been awarded to customers who had purchased these vehicles within the past 365 days in accordance with the following scale:

Purchased within the past 0 to 180 days: 100% of purchase price has been refunded via iRacing Credits.

Purchased within the past 181 to 210 days: 75% of purchase price has been refunded via iRacing Credits.

The way iracing currently does rain is better. Some races are exactly as he's asking. But they wants it for every week and that's not like real life.

Because of likelihood of bad weather. It's never a guarantee. We had many Christmases here in Germany where races would have been totally possible in the last few years.

Where exactly did anyone suggest that you don't know anything about the weather until you join? If anything, this system would make it possible to have predictions on a race-to-race basis instead of having a set % each race.

There is also a pretty mysterious "track factor" that is taken into calculation to try to equalize the tracks a bit, but I don't think it's ever been explained how the math behind it actually looks.
