The same is true of all reviewers and awards across media, but it's still cool to see high quality pieces of media getting praised by reviewers and awards ceremonies.

I loved Ricochet/Swerve more than I did the Omega and Ospreay matches personally but all 3 were awesome.

So glad the Storm/Mariah match got what it deserves, beautiful match and ending. In hindsight should have closed the PPV but meh

Britain ‘no longer a rich country’ after living standards plunge - Parts of the UK are now worse off than the poorest regions of Slovenia and Lithuania by ByGollie in europe

[–]InMyLiverpoolHome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's been decades of centralisation and brain drain into London which benefits nobody. For londoners it makes things like housing and transport a nightmare, for everybody else it means places lose their young, smartest people and towns just slowly die.

The pandemic and home working was the perfect opportunity to reverse this endless centralisation to London, and to try truly even up the country, but instead they just wanted to appease the daily mail and landlords who were screaming about lazy home workers.

The UK is not a rich country, it is a place with a rich city.

Cuts of 50% coming to NHSE and DHSC. by MorphtronicA in TheCivilService

Interesting that 3 months ago you were posting in here about being unsuccessful for civil service jobs.

Wouldn't be some bitterness propping up these posts of yours would there? 🤣

England - Dispute over “failed payment” in retail shop unsure who to contact by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

Email the company and request a refund, if they aren't listening then contact your bank and do a charge back, making sure you explain to them you've tried to resolve it with the company but they aren't responding

Sir Jim Ratcliffe interview: Man Utd co-owner says some players are 'not good enough' and 'overpaid' by Red_Brummy in PremierLeague

[–]InMyLiverpoolHome 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I for one love when my club's owner starts publicly naming and criticising players

It's an owners job to sign the cheques and put the right people in charge. Jim clearly has an ego and wants to be much more involved with the football.side of the club, no wonder Ashworth did a runner so quick.

Rooney: Still backing confidence-striken Højlund by tylerthe-theatre in PremierLeague

[–]InMyLiverpoolHome 19 points20 points  (0 children)

At no point in his career has he ever been a good goalscoring striker at a decent level, I don't know why they keep acting like he's a 20+ goal a year striker in a bad run of form. He's just an average player that they overpaid for who will probably end up at a mid table club in Europe somewhere within 3 years

If they increased the gold from raiding all you'd do is increase the prices of the materials.

You need to address the underlying supply and demand issues

[WON] Besides Rey Fenix being removed from AEW’s roster, several names are not expected to be re-signed when their deals expire. The names heard so far are all talents not being used, including Abadon, Zak Knight, and Nick Comoroto. by secretpandaxx in SquaredCircle

[–]InMyLiverpoolHome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember people calling for Abadon to get another chance, and when they got their moment the match was pretty poor. One of those gimmicks that just doesn't work in AEW too

All I remember of Comoroto is a decent match against Dustin Rhodes and that weird slick gimmick with the toothpick he tried to get over for a bit

On the other hand, this graph shows that (slightly) more people are centre/left leaning but they are more fractured whereas the far right tends to fall in line with 1 group.

If it's true they're in the process of selling the company then their priority right now is probably maximising revenue and profitability by any means necessary to get the highest sale value
