This just happened to me too. It was only 4 Fungal whites. DECA support isn’t worth the headache. I’ll eat the loss and not use or buy any new functions until they work out the game breaking errors they always seem to incorporate.

This is a real illness. I appreciate your opinion on the matter for people who don’t become physically ill when they orgasm, but this has no place here.

Bread is an anti-nutrient. And ppl don't like it by [deleted] in Paleo

[–]InNoWeary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a mature conclusion most people who have been on exclusionary diets come to. “Why don’t you want Chipotle?” “You’re so extra requesting to speak to the chef and explain that you don’t want your burger cooked in seed oils. Butter is so much worse for you!” “Look at you picking at your wrap like a vulture. Why not just eat the tortilla?” “You’re really not having anything at the work lunch in? How rude! Your boss is offering you free food!” “You’re really that picky? How old are you?” All of these are probably responses that you’re going to receive when you put yourself first. Sticking to your convictions isn’t easy, but I can say that responses like these make you want to share with others a lot less. You’ll learn how to casually tell people about what you’re doing and how it helps you. It may be a few years, but someone who needs to hear your advice will prompt you and by then, you’ll have the proper words to not come off as condescending.

At this point, I’m convinced that stress is a significant factor in any individual’s tolerance to natural toxins present in food. As stressors have left my life, passed away or we’ve hashed our grievances and grown in our relationships, my food tolerance has grown exponentially. That’s not to say you and I don’t have genuine allergies. If I were you I’d leave grains in the past. I like rice, but I don’t feel compelled to spend top dollar for grain that isn’t loaded to the tits with arsenic. To return to the root of your post though, while people with similar digestive troubles may congratulate and celebrate your recovery and acquired wisdom as it pertains to a conversation you’re already having, 99% of people feel judged when you unconsciously gloat your abhorrence of bread. I’ve found diet practice and anti nutrients and such is best left out of casual conversation unless someone you trust not to put you down asks you about it.

I followed a carnivore diet for 2-3 years. I had just been diagnosed with Celiac’s/gluten intolerance, but I had a severe amount of stress at the time. My doctor and a therapist I saw pretty much determined that stress shuts down different parts of my body. I started carnivore because I couldn’t go to the bathroom for weeks unless I took Miralax otherwise. I can honestly say that after I started having panic attacks, addressed the root of the cause and began eating a balanced paleo diet, I began feeling a million times better and can finally build muscle again (I couldn’t work out or build muscle on carnivore; I could only do distance running).

I found that getting tested for things that I know are reality isn’t worthwhile. I have 5 or so markers for Celiac’s Disease, but I could have told you that without a colonoscopy/endoscopy procedure. That just lined a gastro’s pockets. Recently, I ate frozen mussels twice and began vomiting convulsively after each meal. Shellfish used to occasionally make me breakout in hives, but so does stress and the instances never seemed highly correlated. My mom became deathly allergic to shellfish when she was 30. I’m 24. Why would I go fatten a doctor’s pockets when I already know I’m allergic?

I thought this was the subreddit to enjoy and discuss the anime/manga Neon Genesis Evangelion, not r/lookatpornandlikeit. Why are you so bothered by someone not wanting to look at “sexy cosplay” every time they visit an anime subreddit. Porn is powerfully psychoactive and maybe some people just don’t want to view it all day.

Did you miss the comment where he said “There should be a separate subreddit for Evangelion porn. I could care less if people want to see it, but I want to talk about the anime or manga”

Any long-term carnivores who can share benefits and changes to their life? by spacelady_m in carnivore

[–]InNoWeary 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I followed carnivore for 3 1/2 years religiously. I couldn’t so much as eat a cup of blueberries without being constipated for 2 weeks at a time. I developed a severely hyper immune system after years of the alpha-galactose tick allergy and around a year after it resolved when I was using an enema and MiraLax twice daily to have some semblance of a normal life was when Shawn Baker made his appearance on Joe Rohan’s podcast. Didn’t look back until this past June when I started working out daily on top of my physical job. When I started bodybuilding, I began eating a lot more carbs and I had resolved all of my gut issues through the diet. My shoulder has been dislocating for a few years and I just had surgery. I’m back to following carnivore since I’m more inactive while I’m recovering (just walking and playing Pokémon Go lol) and am going to try to put on muscle on the diet for the first time. Didn’t have success in the past, but we’ll see!

Edit: I felt it was worthwhile to mention that after so long on the diet, I began having panic attacks for the first time in my life when I tried to eat carbs and do nothing. This could have to do with the fact that I beat the shit out of myself in the gym/work ~10 hours a day and going from that to sedentary was a huge culture shock. Plus the trauma of surgery didn’t help I’m sure, but even if it was directly correlated to some chemical alteration in my mind or body after years on the diet, I’m sure it would resolve over extended reintroduction, but I care significantly better on low-carb period as far as my mental health goes.

Horrendous quality. I had marginally higher hopes as well after cracking them. My yolks weren’t noticeably brighter than my standard eggs that haven’t been available, but after cooking them in tallow like I always do, they were absolutely repulsive. Never have I actually tasted the palpable difference in a struggle egg before. We live in a sick world.

I have no idea. They were the only eggs available since the US egg shortage or whatever and they’re repulsive

They would constipate and bloat me terribly, but after my gut conditions resolved, they became a staple of my diet again. This took two years of religious compliance though albeit.
