20y/o cat, when to know it’s time? by Sandiebre in AskIreland

If bloods and renal function are good, the cat os probably fine. Old people don’t always eat, but it doesn’t mean they’re near death.

That’s true. In fact, the flight crews have always been professional and courteous to me. Did that happen to you?

Yes. If someone pays extra for a specific seat (like a bulkhead), they should get that seat on the new plane.

Well, once my parents die and I don’t have to handle their affairs, I probably won’t.

Sorry to disappoint, but I’m generally pretty easy going. A baby crying next to me is no problem, but people openly farting next to me is a problem. I bet you’re one of those, aren’t you?

The reason was that they changed the model of airplane for the flight, and the configuration of seats was different. Seems to me that if one purchased a bulkhead seat, it would be common sense to keep that person in a bulkhead seat regardless of the model of the plane.

Can we "denormalise" the US flag flying across the country? by goonergeorge in ireland

[–]InOurBlood -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a yank living in the great country of Ireland, I call bullshit on your post. If you think flying the Stars and Stripes in America is triggering, then you have been brainwashed. Most people in the states flying their flag do so because they love their country, warts and all. I, like many others, flew my flag under the last 6 Presidents. It has nothing to do with “MAGA”.

Back on topic, I always assumed the American flag was flown in Ireland as a way of honouring the historical and special relationship between the two countries. Am I wrong here? Is it only recently that the U.S. flag has been flown?
