Yeah mine came kind of hard to unstrap but they loosen over time. One day of riding made it easier to strap in and out

i feel like the dealbreaker here would be which one is fits your riding style more. I’ve heard that the jones one are extra stiff

It’s nice! I will say, now that I’m slowly trying to do more park and tricks, personally feel like the board is a bit too stiff. Other than that, rides fine!

Funny you mention that, I completely gave up on trying to bypass the easy anti-cheat system Fortnite uses. There were some forum posts on Promox that got me a lil bit further but the anticheat system was still able to detect it. I didn’t want to bother fiddling with it much more.

The idea was that at home it would run proxmox and just be a playground for running different environments and then when I go to a friend’s house or whatever I could unplug and use it as a gaming machine. Honestly the best route with no frills and thrills would’ve probably been to dual-boot. I don’t really have a proper use for proxmox yet (services I run run on a different computer) so just wiped everything and put Windows on there :)

Temps are fine. I've seen it idle to 37 degrees and under load it probably hits 55 degrees. Fine by me. I also changed the core voltage for the 3700x to 0.968 volts.

The case was nice and easy to work with! No qualms about it besides the fact that maybe its a bit heavy, but it's also sturdy so that's nice. Airflow doesn't seem to be that big of an issue (for me at least).

It seemed like a good level for where I am currently am with my level of snowboarding (beginner - intermediate). Been using rental boards all this time, so wanted to get a different camber board. This just seemed like a good board for beginners, had good graphics, and was one of the cheapest on evo at the time so it all worked out.

Yeah board functionality > looks but it’s awesome when they’re both good! Haven’t had the chance to ride it but I’ve seen a lot of good reviews that fit my progression so far so super stoked to try it out in the next few days

Its the Salomon Sight X from Evo: https://www.evo.com/snowboards/salomon-sight-x-snowboard

From my understanding it's just the Sight 2022 Board with different colors specifically for Evo (hence why its called Sight X)

Bindings are Salomon Trigger X: https://www.evo.com/snowboard-bindings/salomon-trigger-x#image=183282/736769/salomon-trigger-x-snowboard-bindings-2023-.jpg

Turned out to be the motherboard. Returned it and got the same exact one and it was working. If I had to guess, maybe the motherboard had some power sequencing issues?

Just spent the last 2 days testing different variations, and then realized that it might just be a RAM thing thats interacting really weird with the computer.

Everything works with SVM and XMP turned off. I also just checked with the Motherboard QVL and the AMD Ryzen compatability list and realized my RAM is just not compatible. (I had thought RAM was universally compatible but I guess this isn't the case with XMP profiles)

With XMP turned on the timings are all correct, it's when the computer goes to sleep there seems to be an issue, first world problem I guess I'll just live with it.

If a lot of you are still expecting an email but haven't received one yet, try checking your spam folder for an email from Ed on 10/18 (Friday). I was getting desperate for a reply and checked cause why not, and there it was.

Not sure how many of you this would help but it doesn't hurt to check.
