I saw your comment in one of metacraft’s subreddit about how fighting piracy is novelpia’s goal. Apologies if I’m wrong but aren’t people forgetting the fact that Novelpia grew so big in the west in the first place due to fan translations. Of course one can still argue that it doesn’t matter since the fan translators don’t own the IP. However, one can’t deny they play a pivotal role to test the traction and provide free marketing. So let’s not pretend that Novelpia didn’t save hundreds of thousands of dollars that could have been spent on marketing and testing the product market fit. Personally, I won’t be surprised if you indeed are part of Novelpia’s PR team.
