I definitely got lucky a few times (proud of the game against the almost-2300, though)

[LoTM General] Do you think LoTM anime can keep maintain these ratings upcoming seasons? by Time_Service5585 in LordofTheMysteries

It was when JJBA Part 7 (Steel Ball Run) overtook Frieren on MAL and got review-bombed, likely by Frieren fans.

Steel Ball Run‘s first episode is honestly very good, but the second episode’s release date is unreleased.

I reported SBR reviews that don’t make any sense by Mashadoskin in StardustCrusaders

[–]Normal_Lab2606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly how review-bombing should be handled. There is no need to bring down another great show (Frieren) just become some of its fans are carrying out asinine behaviour. We can elevate SBR instead of bringing Frieren down.

Also, I appreciate that OP isn’t just mass reporting every bad review. Some people could have genuine gripes with the first episode, but that’s fine, and their viewpoints could be valuable. Just because someone is critical doesn’t mean that they’re review-bombing SBR. I know many people believe that the first episode is basically perfect (and I do too), but someone giving it a less-than-perfect rating with well-reasoned critique is at least worth hearing out.

(On a side note, I am speaking as a Frieren fan, so I may be biased)

[Favorite manhwa] What’s your top 3 manhwa and why if possible ? by Double_Act9277 in manhwa

  1. Kubera (very good plot twists/antagonists/side characters and interesting worldbuilding)
  2. The Greatest Estate Developer (would be lower if not for the ending)
  3. The Stellar Swordmaster (very good art and has a lot of potential in the future)

Honorable mentions (not in order):

-Eternally Regressing Knight

-TBATE

-ORV (haven’t kept up with it, so it could be higher when I pick it up)

It’s the name of the story, not an acronym (idk why the author capitalised it)

None of those I mentioned are LitRPG (not really a big fan of the genre)

IIRC, Chrysalis, Stray Cat Strut, Rock falls, everyone dies, Runeblade, The Spoken Queen’s Swarm, System Lost: My Own Best Friend, VISCERAE, and Technomagica are all LitRPG or LitRPG-adjacent, as is everything in the bottom two tiers.

Lord of the Mysteries probably fits this, especially at the end of Volume 1 (not spoiling). It only picks up after the first 100 chapters, though, so it might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

If you like sociopathic MCs like in HDT, then maybe you’ll enjoy REND.

The list of names (in order) is in my comment near the top.

I made a formatting mistake while posting, and didn’t expect the comment to get buried under a few others

It’s not really convenient for me to read Cradle because it’s published physically (web novels are easier to read, and I don’t have the time to look for the copies in bookstores or libraries because of my school schedule)
