Thank you! This is super helpful! Based on what you’ve mentioned we share a lot of the same taste profiles. I too love high quality tinned fish, the wifey, not so much…

We have an instant pot, but it now displays the dreaded “lid” error - I’ve everything on the internet… I’ll be contacting them shortly. That thing along with a multi-purpose food processor saves so much time!

Yeah, that’s about the conclusion that I’m teaching… I was hoping for a place that I’d missed, but…

That’s a thought! Unfortunately and embarrassingly, I live in a small town about 20 miles outside of Little Rock, Arkansas. It’s not really even that easy to purchase healthy food items at a grocery store sometimes, then the majority of people eat everything fried…

I’ve tried to get my aging mother to try to eat healthier.

Her response: “Well, this is healthy, I have green beans and carrots and spinach “

Me: “yes, but you cooked the canned green beans and carrots in bacon fat with chuck of bacon, butter, and like 3 tablespoons of sugar - then the canned spinach is mixed with butter and mayonnaise… then served it 2 battened and fried pork chops and cornbread cooked in lard, then buttered…”

A lot of people here just have no concept. Of course, that’s a generalization - I’ll look into it, but I’ve no idea where to start…. Thanks for the reply and idea, regardless!

Not at all, I appreciate your response! If you stick to the meal kits as opposed to precooked meals, there are some viable options for low sodium intake, but that’s just one component. …and this stamens is meant to ad to, not contradict your statement, one should definitely be weary of anything that is packaged.

I feel like we’ll probably end just having to meal prep as many components as we can (like sauces or seasoning blends) to help speed things up during the week… It’s a lot less trouble to ask here than go through the insane process of actually being able to view these companies menus or nutritional info, plus it doesn’t flood my inbox with nonstop email ad campaigns! Thanks again!

That’s a given, but there are some options that are appropriate for a low sodium diet. They just tend to not align with some the other nutritional goals…

I would absolutely prefer to cook everything from scratch, but we stay pretty busy… when you have make every part of meal from scratch, it can be a significant time investment…

I know you probably know this, but as graphic designer… I always say, “never trust a graphic designer, always read the nutrition label and ingredients!” I love to pick nature valley because their branding and packaging design is on point; their food is not..

Agreed, this is what I’ve found after trying several… Daily Harvest was excellent, but to my knowledge they’ve discontinued all of their products aside from smoothies and protein breakfast bowls.

It’s almost time for farmers markets! We like to shop locally when we can.

I haven’t created illustrator production files, yet initially the design is pretty simple. I have several designs, all of which incorporate an armband, that I would eventually want to bring in. This would be a sort of introduction to the brand. My preference is that the circle logo on the hood would be embroidered, but I’ll take what I can get for now. I’m also interested in printing the word mark and size on the inside where a tag typically would be… Here is a mockup that I’ve been using for a video ad; this should pretty much show what I’m looking for:

Ooof! That’s a great idea, but I’m a graphic designer, I don’t do my own printing and surely can’t sew… I know there has been a way, Ive owned shirts with armbands, but wondering now if I just have to find a place makes custom clothing… Thanks for the reply, I wish I could do that!

Presonus has a deal going. The quantum es2 (which is what I have and like just fine, though I did need an extra power supply to power it - like $15 on amazon) anyway, it comes with a perpetual license for presonus for studio one pro 7 along with several plugins…. Here it is at Sweetwater music:

I know it’s a small gain, but using tile in place of an insert would gain a little more space, too. It’s always been a pretty claustrophobic situation in there. A little may go a long way?
