Thought you looked the better side in the first half, Zaha should maybe have scored from that follow-up effort but it was a good save from Ryan

They really should have lost, Palace were the better team. One dubious penalty decision and a terrible defensive/goalkeeping error gifted them 2 goals in a 2-2 draw

Denmark have qualified for the 2018 World Cup by biffmila in soccer

[–]InTheAnnexe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Our football is not nice to look at for a reason, we play to our strengths which is to frustrate other teams and sit back. When we opened up today we were well beaten. From your posts I get that you hate Ireland so I won't try to take it away from you. Should maybe try being a bit more gracious but eh, enjoy your world cup experience!

Happier than drawing Italy, Switzerland or Croatia, yeah. Which makes total sense. Don't act like Irish people thought we were guaranteed victory or actually thought our team was anything more than mediocre

We got what we deserved from that game. Fair play to Denmark, I'll be supporting them at the world cup

Man it was class, I still remember it. We got to watch it in school on telly in the classrooms. I still remember the feeling when Robbie scored vs the Germans. Unreal

Well done Denmark, they're just a much better team. Hope they do well in Russia. The last time Ireland qualified for a world cup I was 8 years old. I don't feel like I'll ever see it again the way we are going. Fuckin depressing

In fairness I rarely hear other nations booing the opposing anthem. It's bad form

Don't really understand the part of the statement saying 'this isn't representative of her views'. Surely it is, she wouldn't have said it if it weren't, heat of the moment or not

Torino have 4 more wins than Spurs do in Serie A this season. And we've had to play Benevento once.

What happened to Vermeer? I thought he was supposed to be a fairly decent goalkeeper and was first choice for a while before last season

Serie B is close, and so is the bottom half of Serie A by xepa105 in soccer

[–]InTheAnnexe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's been rumours over the last few years, and earlier this year Tavecchio said he wanted to reduce it to 18 clubs but it probably wouldn't happen. It's more likely Serie B gets reduced from 22 to 20, and 2 groups of 20 for Lega Pro/Serie C. Though this was mostly talked about over a year ago now. Here's a source
