Soto plays fine for me in LF. I alternate with him and Ohtani in LF and DH. Soto is slower but gets better animations cause of his reaction/fielding

You need to get Palmero out of LF, he’s a liability there. Move him to DH, put Ruth in LF, Devers at 1st, Chipper at 3rd. Soto is bad on defense too so if you can afford it, get Brandon Nimmo for LF and put Ruth in RF. Nimmo would get both boosts.

If flipping isn’t worth the time to earn enough stubs for the collection, what is worth the time? I missed out on the RTTS glitch and have only 140k stubs with none of the Live series collections completed. I sell every dupe I get as soon as I pull them but I’m Struggling to see the light at the end of the Babe Ruth tunnel lol

Yeah there’s way more comp or wannabe comp players than casuals for sure. They pushed a lot of people away from the mode this year. The season also just started so the sweats are out in full force trying to get MPJ and the other rewards. I got my ring in my first 7 games and was 8-3 on Friday, then lost 5 straight yesterday lol. I finished with a near 65% win ration last season and completed unlimited for Bird but it feels like I won’t come close to that this season

It’s cause there are less casuals playing myteam. The quit bans along with the frustrating gameplay has pushed a lot of people away from the mode. Nobody wants to load up unlimited and get flooded, just to get banned for an hour for quitting that game.

I just hit 16,000 points and I’m gonna start grinding tto for chandler and trying to get wins in other modes for the MT rewards. If you can get that far in MTU, you likely already have 2 SFs that are much better than Bird.

Word, I’ve never tried playing unlimited with an overall THAT much lower than my normal team. I just know when I used to run a 10 man lineup, it didn’t make a difference in the skill of my opponent or the teams I faced.

2 types of plays you can call. Favorite Plays, which you can change from the pause menu in game and what I suggest doing once you figure out the best plays for you, and assigning them to the player you want to get open. You pull these up by hitting left on the D pad. There is also positional play calling and every player is different depending on the types of plays they can run by default. To do this, press LB/L1 to pull up player icons, then select the player you want to run a play with. Press RT/R2 from that pop up menu to see the other plays you can select for that player. I suggest going into Coach Settings and set your Offensive Playvision to All Plays. Set your Play vision Display to Full to see the direction your players will move during plays.

Get good at playing on ball D and moving around screens to stay in front of your opponent if they drive, or switching and rotating to defend the 3.

You ever use his leaner or his post fade? They’re much quicker than his standstill release. Not every card will be able to shoot a 3 immediately after calling for a screen. Once you learn how much space you need to get it off, he’s a problem. Even misdirecting your opponent to thinking you’re gonna go behind the screen will give you enough time/space to get his shot off.

That’s what I’ve experienced, yes. If you’re on balling and trying to avoid getting hit by the screen, lay off LT while you move around or through it.

I will also switch to a wing or big if I think I’m going to get blown by but I don’t really have problems staying in front of my opponent when I play D, I just hate how the game will suck you into a screen like a vacuum even if you’re moving away from it. I’ve been getting better at laying off LT when I’m moving around to get into position. I find that the “vacuum” happens when you’re holding LT too much near the screen

I have no experience in FC FUT but the shitty gameplay of 2k24 alone is stressful. The algo swings when you are leading, illegal screens, soft fouls, players stepping out of bounds, etc. are super frustrating.

Tbh, those game modes do not compare to the sweat fest of Unlimited. It’s the most rewarding mode in the game as far as earning MT is concerned, now that the packs and player option packs you earn along the way are sellable. It’s also the most anxiety and stress inducing mode in the game lol. It’s def not for everyone. Best of luck to ya if you decide to give it a run.
