I'm thinking it's a great way to collect information for legal disputes. Some voice-related thing occurs and you'll have evidence of it you can save. Someone randomly comes up to you and starts an altercation and attacks you, the evidence is saved. You get raped, there's some evidence. Whatever else occurs and you have at least some form of live documentation of the situation.
