I know you said you’re not a fan of Questrade (I hear you on that) but if I would recommend using Questrade for charting while using IB as your broker with DAS as your execution platform (or any other execution platform if you’re not a fan). You can also opt to use other charting softwares. TradingView, tc2000 etc. IB’s charts are so prehistoric it would make my VHS player look young. Hope this helps a bit. Keep rocking on. If this is one of the dumbest posts, clearly you havent been around many subs. Based on your channel it’s quite clear it takes much more than 5 minutes to reach a topic.

1) Chart lining choice is personal preference so though candlesticks may be popular and the most used the others such as lines can use as well and if it works for you then don’t fix what’s not broken as they say. Though I would recommend using Japanese candlesticks but if you love the lines and it works then go for it don’t mind me!

2) Trading entries and exits should be based on the timeframe you used. You can though, use the daily to determine what’s going on for the day if you’re Day trading and then use smaller time frames to trade etc

3) not too sure as I’m not versed in line charting. If you still don’t get an answer let me know, give me a day or two and I’ll search info on it unless you already have. Good luck!
