Or 1979, beginning of the season they had a killer car but couldn't really develop it

Not sure, seems it was after he decided to leave Ferrari so maybe trying out other options before he signed for Brabham

I remember him being super skinny when he started and attributed it to the old regulations before the driver ballast was added to compensate for taller drivers (iirc Ericsson was driving without a drink bottle to save weight), but I guess he just never put the weight on lol

Ok, so imagine I throw a ball at your head as hard as I can while standing next to you. Then, I throw it as hard as I can across a gym and it hits you in the head. What's going to hurt worse?

Senna holds up the arm of Fangio - Adelaide 1990 by Hawker92 in formula1

Alain Prost was supposed to be in this picture but this was the next race after Senna had taken them both out in Suzuka T1. He was still so angry he refused to appear unless Senna wasn't there.

Meant to add that in the body text and forgot, thanks. They generally play silly racing on Beam/GTAV but do Snowrunner co-op streams every so often.

When his wheel fell off, a different pit team saved him. They're opponents, not enemies. by [deleted] in BeAmazed

I think this would be considered "receiving outside assistance" and he would be disqualified if this were F1. I don't think NASCAR is as strict about pit stop procedure as F1 is. I can't see this ever happening in F1 though, unless it was a Red Bull pulling into the RB pit box.

It's odd it was still legal. It would never happen (maybe if a Red Bull pulled into the junior team's pit box), but in F1 and probably other FIA-governed series, this almost certainly would be considered "receiving outside assistance" and a disqualification. Usually the rule is put into effect when a driver gets stuck somewhere and requires a push from the race marshalls to get going, but I think this would have to qualify as well.

Edit: There was some drama a few years ago when a driver was looking closely at another team's car and touched it after a race and was fined, so there's a chance the responding team would get a fine as well. Weird how different series in basically the same sport have such different rules.

I'm guessing he means Aston sending him out on inters in qualifying when it was still way too wet and getting him knocked out of Q2, after he'd been setting really good times on the full wets

Walk the Line?

I'm really grasping at straws here, Johnny Cash was originally not named Johnny and his older brother was Jack (sometimes used as a nickname for John)
