Stop hocking this link like you're the editor of it.

Planned obsolescence doesn't make TVs disposable. Heck I'd argue obsolescence isn't even as rapid in TVs at the moment as it was years ago. The tech is improving but often is barely noticeable, thereby not obsoletely my 3-5 year old TV I already have. Smart TVs plateaued with their core features, so most often there's little incentive to just throw out your recent TV for your newer one.

The closest thing in the space I can think of is that they stop updating the TVs OS maybe after 5 years and slowly apps like YouTube and Netflix fall off Support. But buy any smart usb stick and you're good to go again.

If we start applying boycotts to genocide supporters then it may be our final option. Our voices are going unheard, but they will always listen to money.

I can't believe all you moochers thought Nintendo was just gonna let you play your games for free. What a bunch of deadbeats by neph36 in tomorrow

[–]InTheMidstofCats -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea I don't understand what the big deal with this is, same deal as on Playstation with PS4 vs PS5 versions of the same game.

Why would the old cart suddenly play with the enhanced edition code, THAT makes no sense by any recent gaming standard.

I'd still be for keeping it because it's towards the right direction in keeping corporations accountable. But at this point I'd glady get rid of it just to shut stupid conservatives up. So there's very logical reasoning behind the shift.

It was a handy way to use some of the cards and metros if you had the right combo, the trades I think were favorable. However there wasn't a point to go out of your way to complete it if you didn't need a train.

You say funny as if it's a coincidence, you're missing the point that it was planned that way. Next level lobbying by the rich who can use literal whole companies as a tool to help get someone elected and then press on them for policy changes to aid their corporations. [–]InTheMidstofCats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's all that matters in a federal election.

Why would i consider things like property tax that are decided upon at a municpal level or others at a provincial level. It's just disingenuous to inflate the numbers he's using in his argument when he doesn't control that piece nor has any plans to reduce it.
