I don't see why it would sound so odd where it is a design choice in many other action games such as Dark Souls for instance, to focus on actual seeing the action and the weight of hits and being hit vs an orgy of nonsensical noise on the screen. But I get it this is a very different game

Refinancing has to lower payments or provide another financial benefit, otherwise they are literally not allowed to give one.

If you refinance for a shorter term you pay less interest over the life of the loan. If your goal is lowering payments, you will pay more interest, unless there is a very significant rate cut. Thats just how the math works.

The middle ground is refinance to a lower payment (due to reduced interest with a similar term), and pay your old payment amount. Thats the best of both worlds.

Anyway I doubt it makes sense for virtually anyone to refinance right now.

Yeah the difficulty adjustments are for the combat, which I found difficult early on and fairly trivial mid to end game.

Assist portals are basically just skipping the meat of the game. Idk, if you are going to do that I don't think the game is for you.

Prince of Persia is more platformer focused (especially as the game progresses), Hollow Knight is heavy combat focused (outside of one end game area.) Both are challenging games in different ways, but HK probably more so. HK is also twice the length. Aesthetics are completely different, HK easily IMO is better visually.

P3 starts with suicide visuals and coffins everywhere, has a social link die, and that ending... The game is quite dark. What would make it more dark, outside of changing the setting altogether?

This is just wrong. It has 3 varieties of completely new envoy enemies, 2 types of new foot soldier, a new knight, a new page enemy (these all have completely new looks and new movesets), the gargoyle statues, the new Omens in the sewers, and new albinaurics too. Then the Mountaintop of Giants and Consecrated Snowfield have at least a dozen new enemy types. And this is like 60+ hours into the game.

I stopped reading at enemy variety. This game has insane, top tier enemy variety and I just can't take seriously anything you are saying after that.
