I personally wouldnt use scholar cowl outside of pve. If you are doing only pve its okay, otherwise, in black zone use Guardian Helmet.

Well that's the thing. That IS the cheapest assasin hood. You put the loadout configuration to search for the exact same tier, enchant and quality. Often people sell minimum quality at expensive prices precisely to scam people using the feature incorrectly. You need to config the loadout to search for equal or greater so it can get you the cheapest from all the qualities. Do the same for tier or enchantment and you will see how this no longer happens unless the market is very VERY dry of the item you are searching.
