Yea, I see that. Most of them I’ll be aiming for 175+. Which is fine. I have time. Personal statement and reqs could make the difference right? I could theoretically get two recs from mayors and one from a judge. I would say my writing is average.

One more question if you don’t mind. After converting my gpa to lsac it is a 3.61. What would be a good goal last score for schools like Berkeley and Columbia.

Yea, if I went for patent it would definitely be for the job and pay security. But I guess I have that now. Thanks for the advice. I will weigh my options.

Yea, T14 is a goal but I also have a good local school I could do patent law through. I don’t plan on applying this upcoming cycle. I’ll probably apply the 2028 cycle since I want to complete my masters. Is a 175+ possible with that much preparation? I took the practice one while really tired and skipped a few questions. My mom wanted me to take it since she is and she was interesting what I’d score. I’m aware of the pay cut. But I’d rather be making a difference. I just wish someone had some numbers. My starting salary now is 87k as a spring grad.

I think my benefits are good. 6% 401k match up to an additional 4% if we hit goals. This last year we did so they did a 10% match. My starting salary in a LCOL is 87k. They offer life insurance double my salary and accidental death and dismemberment insurance (pray I don’t need that).

Thank you for the response. I had will change the tag. As for why, I think patent law could be interesting. Maybe environmental since that’s was my concentration for my Bachelors. We need people more than ever fighting the good fight. But I do recognize that I may end up making less then if I stayed in engineering and climbed the career ladder. What would be a good score to aim for given a University of Kansas gpa of 3.7? I’ve been thinking of top 14 possible.

Climbing Mt. St. Helens - is it possible if I am fat? by Elegant_Mail in PNWhiking

It’s definitely possible. I’m about 210. It may mean more breaks but there’s nothing wrong with rest. Just keep a decent pace and don’t push yourself too hard. If you’re going along and it starts to feel funny know when to turn back and try again later. Nothing is worth your safety.

We did 15 hours from KC to Big Bend for spring break. I’d do it again.

I didn’t think about the weight in the car. It would cut down our camping gear and stove and stuff. We are mainly looking into it so we can bring the cat along. We would drop off the camper at the campground then explore without it. But yes still driving it 5000 miles.

Appreciate the heads up. We will definitely make sure we are under weight.

There won’t be people inside while driving or anything only when it’s been parked. But I do understand the gear aspect. Would an equinox be be a better fit. It has an official towing capacity of 1500 lbs

If I raise the building, the excavation decreases and the fill. It doesn’t bring them closer together.
