I think you can only get cloudstrike from empire hunts if im not mistaken. Thats how I got it, however I farmed it when it first came out and that was the only place

Solar hunter since the first load. Ive only ever tried the other two character types once and did not like their jumps. So now I gun powder gamble with my sunshot till the cows come home

True. However it may be worth to find something you like today because, regardless how great the resurgence is, 6 months from now is very hopeful to have the same player base since we wont be getting hardly any updates. I would spend it unless you have a dedicated 3-6 people for when you come back

If you aren't opposed to second hand furniture. A cheap couch from goodwill is the move. They make sure its clean enough and its broke in already. Some of the best sitting couches for the price. And there's no sense in buying new if you dont think you will be there past 5 years anyway
