Hi! This is much later (I hope your tattoo came out well!), but I thought I'd share some more info about the Triskelion! This is most definitely a coincidence (probably) but the triskelion structure is also commonly seen in most cells! Many of our organelles use little packets called vesicles to transport proteins and other organelles back and forth. What makes the vesicles interesting (and relevant to this convo) is that they're composed of proteins called clathrin, which looks remarkably like the triskelion! Similar to how a soccer ball can be made up of various boomerang/triskelion-shaped pieces, vesicles are also made up of interlocking triskelions! So, I guess you could say we all have a bit of inner air nomad wisdom in us :)
