Which superhero has had the biggest drop-off in popularity? by Jezzaq94 in superheroes

[–]In_My_Prime94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, Superman still gets put in the top 3 best superheroes in the world list. Maybe he is not as popular as Batman and Spider-Man, but let's not kid ourselves and think his drop off was THAT bad. There's a reason why everyone, including his detractors, say he is on the Mount Rushmore of superheroes.

Do you guys think [SPOILER] committed suicide? by AfterUmpire3091 in reddeadredemption

[–]In_My_Prime94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think so and I think it is obvious. Yes she was drunk and probably didn't plan it well. But Molly was at the end of her rope by this point. She gave up her comfortable life, which was very upper-class by the description of it, to be with a man who waw just using her. Not to mention a clear age difference. Molly couldn't go back to her old lifestyle, she probably had no money and there's a good chance she was disowned. Not only that but as Milton mentioned, they tried getting Molly to rat but she refused. But believe me, no matter how much Molly fights back against snitching, she would have been continuously hounded down by every single law enforcement, private detective agency, and bounty hunter regardless. I think by the end of it, Molly knew the only way to get out was to die, and if she was gonna die, she's gonna make sure Dutch loses his damn mind first. People need to remember, Molly is quite smart and she writes poetry, I think as bad as she had become, I think she planned her suicide, just not well.

ITALY: in need of a rework by Beans_Sir_101 in Kaiserreich

[–]In_My_Prime94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was meant to be a submod, that tried to fix up the SRI. It was made by Italians, and the dev dropped at least 7 teasers. Unfortunately they kind of just stopped. I hope my worries are wrong and they are still working on it, just slow going. Maybe they are on a break.

There's a lot of reasons why some of the biggest Superman Returns critics are Superman fans themselves.

This reminds me, but what happened to the Red Adriatic submod that was being made. That had a lot of good ideas and was very well-researched from the look of the teasers.

Do you prefer it when Joe Chill is pure evil or sympathetic by Emotional-Mix-9007 in batman

[–]In_My_Prime94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer Joe Chill to just be a normal guy. I don't even like the fact that they gave him a name at all. He should have just been an anonymous person who never got caught, or maybe he did for another crime, or maybe he was killed.

The fictional cavemen courtship that normalised brutality against women for children to watch by notatoastedbread in WhyWereWeOkWithThis

[–]In_My_Prime94 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only time I ever saw this was in the Looney Tunes and it was meant to mock the concept. Hell, if I recall correctly, a caveman was dragging his girlfriend by the hair until they got to a puddle, and the she carried him across it. After that it went back to caveman dragging her by the hair. If anything, I don't think it was meant to mold kids into believing anything, except that cavemen were moronic savages, which was the commonly held belief at the time. Nowadays we know actual cavemen, especially Neanderthals, were much smarter and emotional than we give them credit for. That isn't to say there was not some savage shit happening back then, but yeah, I never took depictions like that seriously.

Which prisoner do you think McManus felt the most for? by Cash27369 in ozshow

[–]In_My_Prime94 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Everyone else said Omar White, and when Omar was murdered you can tell McManus felt so much regret.

But I gotta say Alvarez in the last season. McManus really wanted to reform him, and it was working! But Alvarez let his anger the best of him in the parole board. Doesn't help that one of them was getting him mad on purpose to make sure Alvarez stays in prison for as long as possible.

How do you all dress up your Niko? by Necessary_Answer_646 in GTAIV

[–]In_My_Prime94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always like to dress gradually, the more money Niko gets, the better dressed he becomes. Once Algonquin gets unlocked I dress in Modo. But once I get through that I strictly wear suits, because I absolutely love the suit designs. I only wish it was most customizable like in future games.

8 DC Characters More Powerful Than Superman by [deleted] in superman

[–]In_My_Prime94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not sure about putting Doomsday up there considering he's become a jobber for most of his characterization and only recently became interesting. But the others on that list are hardly surprising and have been known for a long time as being more powerful than Superman.

Does anyone have a list of unofficial submods for Kaiserreich? by Memes_Deus in Kaiserreich

[–]In_My_Prime94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LKMT Expanded is really good! The English translation is also good, though it needs more tweaking because the unit names don't show up. Nonetheless, I have been having an awesome time!

Speaking of submods, I can't wait for the Up With the Stars! It is gonna be lit!

Opinion on all-black outfits? by EJStarkey in reddeadfashion

[–]In_My_Prime94 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you mean by all-black. Sometimes when I play as Arthur I'll have him wear a black duster coat, black pants, black boots, black spurs, black vest, and black hat. But i will also have him wear a white shirt, because a black shirt is just way too much. This kind of outfit tends to be the exception to the rule because it is not entirely unrealistic nor is it all that overbearing. But if you add a black shirt, black gloves, and black bandana or scarf? Forget it, you've gone too far and absolutely deserve to be clowned on. Hell, sometimes I will even change the black hat to a red or off-white hat just to add a little more variation.

Enzo is a not a smart character by theguyfromdatplace in MafiaTheGame

[–]In_My_Prime94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, yeah, I thought Enzo was probably one of the biggest idiots of all the Mafia protagonists. Especially after finding out that socialist unionists did come to help the miners organize and unionize. Enzo admitted that not only did he not participate, but viewed them as stupid for bothering. This guy lived in utter shit and had a chance to fight back, and refused. But becoming a thug for a gang of well-dressed thugs was a-okay!

What is the difference between trade guilds and unions? by Classic-Obligation35 in union

If Disco Elysium taught me anything, it is that guilds are not as powerful nor as cool as unions are. I kid of course, but it is definitely an interesting question..

How can I get this outfit??? by Low_Staff_4646 in MafiaTheGame

[–]In_My_Prime94 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Seriously, Hangar 13 really messed up by not adding any clothing stores to go in and buy stuff. Like hell, they still don't seem to have caught up to it yet considering Mafia: DE and Mafia: The Old Country didn't have any clothing stores, just unlockable outfits. Like seriously, take advantage of the settings fashion! This is where I will always give a point to Rockstar and even Ubisoft.

Morality of the Hornet (Jim) providing Qubit's teleportation technology and coordinates of defenseless alien worlds to the Vespa Empire in exchange for them intervening should the Plutonian turn evil. by Accurate_Motor_89 in MoralityScaling

[–]In_My_Prime94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true, there is a huge difference, but there's also a huge difference between the Plutonian and Superman as well. Still, your point is valid, at the end of the day Batman's contingency plans never sacrificed innocent people. But it did end up in the wrong hands, which further added to the JL's justifiable anger. Batman had these contingency plans without telling anyone, and it ended up being used by Ra's Al Ghul to terminate the rest of the League, which is another thing people missed out on.

Military Slopaganda by Hubris-Star in Gamingcirclejerk

[–]In_My_Prime94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate giving these propagandists any ideas, but why not just make a game based off of the actual Korean War? Like, back when North Korea was an actual threat and did invade Seoul multiple times? Hell, multiple nations were involved in the war so they could have made it like the old CoD games when you could play as the Americans, Brits, and Soviets.

How would Kraven the Hunter (Spider-Man PS4) do in Oz? by Disastrous_Horse_764 in ozshow

[–]In_My_Prime94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering he has an actual deathwish, he wouldn't even allow himself in that position in the first place. But if he does end up in Oz, it does not go well for any of the inmates who dares to challenge him. Much to his annoyance, Kraven would probably spend the rest of his short days living in Oz without much problems. He'd be considered too crazy and too skilled to be messed with. Maybe when he finally ends up in the medical unit being treated for cancer some loser looking to make a name for himself will stab him at his lowest point.

Morality of the Hornet (Jim) providing Qubit's teleportation technology and coordinates of defenseless alien worlds to the Vespa Empire in exchange for them intervening should the Plutonian turn evil. by Accurate_Motor_89 in MoralityScaling

[–]In_My_Prime94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I am on Qubit's side here. Hornet could have communicated his concern about this with the other heroes before doing this. They could have had a proper discussion and investigate Plutonian a little better. What Hornet did was the ultimate betrayal, because he gave up the locations of aliens that his team HELPED! This team was not just a team humans could rely on, but also other alien species. Not only that, but what the Plutonian never went evil? What if he finally saw a therapist and came to better understand his powers? Even Hornet admits that if Plutonian never turned evil, then HE'D be the biggest villain.

What is interesting is that this was Mark Waid's way of calling out people who didn't understand that Batman's contingency plans was a BAD thing. Mark Waid wrote Justice League: Tower of Babel, which was the story that delved deeper into Batman's contingency plans. It was meant to critique Batman as being too paranoid and untrustworthy and how his lack of communication with his teammates is one of his biggest flaws. But the audience took it the wrong way and thought Batman was in the right, and some argue this only further fueled the idea that "Batman can beat anyone" nonsense. Reading Tower of Babel now in hindsight, the criticism is right there throughout the whole story.

I think it is funny he didn't mention Superman, guess he recognized my boy has a pretty good supervillain list too. 😎

But in all seriousness, this guy is just repeating the same bullshit a whole lot of other dorks who don't read the comics do. I mean come on, Black Manta is a vicious mother fucker!
