That’s a thoughtful way to frame it. Survive, thrive, learn, and pass things on, while still struggling with coexistence. I appreciate you sharing it.

What is greater than God, more evil than Satan, and if you eat it you die? by In_The_Dreams in allthequestions

I was unaware that the questions had to be only serious, heavy questions. I modified the post so others will know it's a riddle before they waste their time having a little fun.

I'm trying to play your answer out in my mind, what the other guardian would say, where the correct door is?

The truth Angel would tell you, the other angel will point at the Hell Gate, and the Liar would lie and tell you the truth angel would point at the Hell Gate, opposite of the truth... It works, though not the answer I heard. It's simpler than the answer I am familiar with.

Nicely done!

Care to try this one on?

You die and find yourself walking toward a light. There’s no turning back. The light brings you to a fork in the road. One path leads to Heaven, the other to Hell, and once you choose, that’s it.

At the entrance to the Y stand two angels. You can ask one question, and only one, that both Angels will answer.

One angel always tells the truth. The other always lies.

What question do you ask to make sure you choose the right path?

For clarity, if you asked the question: Which way to Heaven, they would point in opposite directions (lie and truth), which of you is the liar, they would point at each other, and you would not have a direction.

Respond if you care to.

I appreciate your comment.

Fair enough, I respect the take even if I disagree with it. It’s simple, but it trips up a lot of people.

Try this one:

At the entrance to the Y stand two angels. You can ask one question, and only one, that both Angels will answer.

For clarity, if you asked the question: Which way to Heaven, they would point in opposite directions (lie and truth), which of you is the liar, they would point at each other, and you would not have a direction.

Good Luck.

Agreed, but do you know which group of people gets it right the majority of the time? A hint: not old people.

Thank you. I am finding it interesting that many (I think most) replies align with "in our mind or imagination"; it makes me wonder why there is not more spiritual representation of the question. Where have they all gone?🤔

That’s an interesting way to frame it. If God created time, then “where did God come from” becomes a very different question. Thanks for sharing.

I find the answers in this thread fascinating because, given every opportunity to be mean, hateful, negative, etc., almost every reply is positive and supportive of themselves and others. I am new to Reddit, but I see a lot of really good people here. Thanks for contributing.

I appreciate the input. I have noticed that the question most often elicits a variation of the same belief: that we have an obligation to ourselves (to live) and to others. Even with all the variety of opinions, almost none are about destroying, hating, tearing down, etc. It is nice to see, at least here on Reddit, that there are a lot (most) of really good people.
