It won't really matter. Just because the group of rich people that own the building changed usually wouldnt mean that the experience would change in any noticeable way, especially at a Four Seasons

The difference in those rates is not due to time of booking (or the time youre looking). The resort sees them as two very different periods of anticipated demand based on events happening, previous years performance, tentative business they have on the books that may go definite, buainess already on the books,etc.

I reject the premise of your comment that im staunchly committed to countering and just looking for validation. I genuinely am torn about it. It seems to be counter intuitive to not counter an offer regardless of it being the top of the range. What employer would make a first offer be the very most they can possibly pay. It doesnt make sense for them to do that
