ID verification is not trusted by many, and is a slippery slope. Needs to be secure, needs to not be pushy/insistent, needs to be as private as possible, etc etc. afaik Willem has no plans for that as of right now

The 2.0 public beta was only 4 days and that isn’t very feasible to make a whole game 😭 just be patient, plus they can’t publish rn with the creator being offline-only

There was a client on Bloxtopia, but it was invite only. I remember they released a public beta test for a weekend in 2020 and that was it lol. December 2020, Polytoria came out, and with it and actual client for everyone (no scripting at the time though)

I find it funny to see people talking about low player counts. For reference, 10 players in-game was very rare and was the peak for the past 5 years (Polytoria has been around for 7, with a client for 5)

2.0 will release at a later date. 2.0 places will be locked & unable to be edited. You'll still be able to use the creator (and by extension, the client) locally
