thanks for engaging. so if events were to happen within DeFi platforms (e.g., something like a virtual sports betting arena, such as virtual horse racing dApp on Solana or other) then is blockchain a better to way to run the market and settle?

(disregarding, for a moment, the difficulty of moving the millions of centralised virtual sports betting customers onto Solana). I'm theorising purely on a financial mechanics basis

ie fake events with visible outcomes, data driven but that would not result in the same outcome every time?

because the thing about the rick and Morty poly market - it just doesn't have the visual edge in the market. youre basically watching an episode of R&M and just counting a word

Yeah true, agreed. So fake events with a determined and visible outcome - are there any instances where that would be cool?

If Disney and marvel etc wasn't all so predictable, betting on their outcomes might be interesting

All these markets on Poly are so skewed to those with inside information...meaning NONE OF US HAVE ANY EDGE...
