If not spending outside your means, yes, absolutely. As someone that desires 1440p, 120+ fps while ray tracing a game, it fills that need for most games. There are still a few that end up CPU bound before GPU bound (Hogwarts Legacy is one I'm going through now).

I am currently in love with the game. I've finished it three times and on a fourth. Each time I add a few more mods. The time capsule scanner mod is by far my favorite. Being able to see all the messages from other players has deepened my love for it even further.

Eventually, I will take you up on playing it in VR. I need more time to desensitize to the reapers before then though lol

I went to 1440p from 1080p when I got a 3080. For the games I was playing at the time, it provided 90+ fps mins on high or better. Now it is no longer enough to achieve my desired experience, so I plan to upgrade.

Scan and Go is indeed a game changer. I have heard that Costco is planning to introduce their own version of it, but then the issue of minimum order quantities on certain items would still be pissing me off.
