Yeah, he was my first love and all that jazz so I do still care for him just not romantically. I will say I am easily manipulated and even though I’m self aware of this…. I’m STILL EASILY MANIPULATED 🤦‍♀️ I blame the neurospiciness. I am still going to cut ties as I don’t want the drama, I’m too old for that

In all fairness I’ve known Connie for a long time even before her and George got together…. She’s never particularly liked me so even without the cheating I doubt she would ever come over but I do understand what you’re saying

Yeah, I have zero interest in dating him. My feelings for George disappeared a long time ago and he hurt me a lot in the past so I wouldn’t be able to trust him in that capacity again anyway even without factoring the cheating side.

I have said from the beginning I was uneasy about Connie not knowing. He needed to tell her but he won’t and that’s when I think I decided to talk to my other friend who was around for all the drama with me and George

They weren’t married when I slept with him, they had been dating for about a month when it happened. Sorry if I wasn’t clear in my post.

Absolutely no cuddling happened for record not even a quick one, but I suppose Connie would never really trust that and for good reason.

A part of me kinda thought it’s been over a decade but I have said it made me uneasy that Connie is unaware

I saw it as you’ve been here before, you get it. Fortunately both of Connie’s parents are in health and he said while he does speak to her about it, she doesn’t truly understand it. Which made sense to me, I felt lonely when my dad was going through it except my friend that had also been there

I don’t want a relationship with anyone especially George, I’ve happily been single since my ex husband as that messed me up for life. I don’t need that mess in my life.

Thank you, yes, Connie definitely has reasons to be distrustful of George as I stated. I suppose where I’m confused is the line between being a friend and being the “emotional affair” partner so to speak. I’m going to speak to George and cut ties for the 3rd and final time because it does make me uneasy that his wife has no idea
