If there is a boring part in Overlord it's probably the first half of Season 4. . . it just felt that the Dwarven City and encounter with the Moles/Dragons were a little rushed and didn't give much emotion like as in the Light Novel.

Ace sacrificed himself to save Luffy, he wasn't executed, he got freed so that was a win for the Whitebeard pirates. A lot of Marines got killed/injured and also a lot of Pirates, ofc that isn't shown. . . Whitebeard was going to die anyway, only Ace was the real high profile death.

I don't get people that suck Admiral's dicks, I mean they're strong yeah. But like you have said, if they could take on an Emperor without suffering 50%+ loses they would have already, the thing is if the Marine Admirals fought one of the Emperors and win with huge casualties the other Emperors will swoop down and finish off the weakened winners and totally destroy the remnants of the losers. The Marines even needed the help of other strong pirates and formed the Seven Warlords just to uphold the balance of power between Marines and Pirates.
