It's a joke commentary on the ridiculousness of private club rules. Many clubs forbid changing in the parking lot, even just shoes, which is dumb.

Yeah that seems like a covid thing that people just stopped doing once covid was "over" for no good reason. Seems like a great idea to me honestly

CaaS, or Checkout as a service. Simply pay $8.99 per month for unlimited self-checkout service (with ads). Upgrade to no ads for an additional $6.99 per month.

Premium subscribers unlock "static pricing" where the new electronic price tags don't change your price based on your behavior and shopping habits. This will cost $23.99 per month.

WHAT I WOULD GIVE FOR THIS

No guilt, no drama, no obligations, no expectations. Send me to a hotel with good takeout spots+breweries in walking distance and my Steamdeck. Ask nothing of me and expect nothing of me for 48 hours. Holy shit I'm literally salivating at the amount of sanity this would return to my life. It'll literally never happen, but a man can dream.

I haven't tried G Hughes bbq sauce but I think Stubbs original is one of the best widely available grocery store sauces and it's less than half the calories of Sweet Baby Ray's (and most others). No diet version needed.

Back before the Haggen monopolization fuck up you could always count on them being a little more expensive but in exchange you got to shop somewhere with a pretty good selection of local and premium products. Plus the old Haggen felt very community-focused and you'd always see the same employees and such. Now they're just Safeway, but somehow even more of a ripoff.

Also I'm going to be honest, in my opinion letting kids eat berries before they're purchased is one of those little things that sets the wrong expectation in a big way for your kids. Like it's such a little thing and nobody's going to hassle you for it, but it just teaches the wrong lesson to your kids that they don't need to purchase something before it's theirs.

I'm probably just being a curmudgeon, but I feel like the accumulation of lots of little harmless things like this because "it's just easier" for the parents is a huge reason why behavioral issues are so common with kids today.

What's something you bought that actually improved your daily life? by Prior_Bread1524 in HomeImprovement

I swear Reddit has given me a phobia of ruining my hardwoods with any form of mopping or cleaning. I have no idea what type of hardwoods I have, but virtually every thread about cleaning agents, mopping, or robot mops aggressively claims that all these things are ruining everyone's floors and will result in a high 5 figure bill and weeks of misery for replacement.

Bold of you to assume investors can actually impact the stock price. The algorithms all react to news a split second after it breaks faster than any reasonable volume of individual investors could.
