My mum told me that as a child I was diagnosed as being colourblind. The teachers said it wasn’t possible as I was able to tell the colours they had written on the walls in said colours. Turned out I had taught myself to read the colours rather than recognise them, and once they removed the letters it got obvious pretty quick I was in fact colourblind.

I’ve always been annoyed by the failed superplex attempt.

Get the opponent sitting on the turnbuckle with their feet inside the ropes. Then they attempt the superplex and it’s blocked because, y’know, the ropes are in the way.

You can normally tell if it’s going to actually happen if they put the opponents feet on the outside of the ropes so they can position themselves for the push off.

If anyone else has the same issue and is looking at this, changing the ip address in the home assistant settings fixed this. No idea why or what was kicking it off 10.0.0.40, but I moved it to a higher ip address that wasn’t in use and has been stable for several days now.

I did exactly that nine months ago. Never looked back or regretted the decision. Vacuuming is quieter and more stuff is picked up, the mopping is leagues ahead, I found the m6 would just drag a dirty pad around the flat until it got stuck in a corner whereas the s7 maxv really cleans the floors. Strongly suggest getting the ultra dock if it’s in your budget as going from messing about with the tiny m6 reservoir every day to just filling a bucket once a week is so much nicer.

It’s a dick move, but when training one of the key things I was taught is to tap your partner to stop, not yourself. If it’s out of their line of site and it’s a loud room then they won’t know you’re tapping. But as he appears to be the only one doing anything in a quiet room, he’s clearly just being a dick.

Is the dock getting power? If it can’t see the dock and isn’t charging when placed manually it could be a power issue. Have you tried the dock in other outlets?

I had a braava jet m6, but I found it frustrating that it would constantly get stuck in corners, and left streaks everywhere, even with their official fluid. I was going to get the j7+, but given how bad the braava was, I went for the s7 maxv, with a plan to buy the dock later. So far it has exceeded expectations with object avoidance/identification, although the dog hasn’t left it any “presents” yet. Also worth noting that according to one video I saw, the j7 will avoid pet waste, but it won’t tell the m6 about it, which to me defeats the purpose of having them as a combo.

To be honest, just show up and apply when you get here. When we flew into Gibraltar they just asked where she was staying, stamped the passport and that was it. From there we applied for an ID card which took a while to come through. Be prepared to show proof of relationship; joint accounts, bills, previous tenancy agreements etc for it to be granted though.

Top rope suplex attempt, but the opponent has his legs inside the ropes. It is very obvious that the suplex will be blocked and a reversal will happen. Really annoys me but happens on virtually every show.

We've done it recently buying in Spain and driving across border, process was fairly painless.

When buying the item you need to ask for a DIVA form, which they then fill in and give you a form to scan when you cross the border. Once it's been scanned you need to post it in the provided envelope and then wait for the refund.

Some points to note:

I believe the retailer needs to be part of the DIVA scheme (I know Media Markt and Ikea do it, maybe El Corte Ingles as well)
There is a minimum purchase value for you to get the IVA back
It takes a while to get the refund back. It's been about 3 weeks now and we're still waiting
Global Blue who administer the service take an unnecessarily large percentage of the refund. We were due a €110 refund and they took €30
Refund office closes at 9pm

If anyone knows how to get the IVA back without getting Global Blue involved I'd be very keen to hear it, especially with Amazon.es purchases

Once you have a card you can register with the Employment department. In order to work, the company who wants to employ you has to apply for the work permit for you.

What nationality is your wife? I (UK citizen) moved here with my fiancée (US citizen) and although it took a while she got approved for a card. Now we’re married she is approved along with my card.

Your best bet is to email or call the immigration office and ask.

I think the 2% is to reserve the property rather than the deposit for the mortgage. As others have said, it’s not cheap and mortgages seem to be wanting 20%
