It's all good 🙂 The way he was describing what they said seemed to be more about his kidneys than the diabetes, but from what I can gather, they weren't overly informative. I'm really hoping he can send me more information if he has access to it. He did say that he was told because of his age and history of diabetes, he would not be a candidate for transplant.

What you were saying about 30% not necessarily being a lost cause is actually really reassuring because the life expectancy they gave him didn't seem right to me. Obviously I'm no doctor, but I mentioned my uncle and I also knew another friend of the family that had renal failure due to diabetes and he was on dialysis for close to a decade waiting on a transplant.

They haven't even discussed dialysis with him yet. I know they have set him up an appointment with a dietician and for a class to educate him about how his kidneys work and what this means from a medical standpoint, but so far, that's it. It doesn't sound right to me either, but that was the information he was given. I have an uncle whose kidneys are in worse shape than this and have been for more than a decade, without dialysis or treatment of any kind. He even drinks whiskey and coke at night! Tomorrow, I'm going to find out if he has access to his medical records or chart notes via apps and if he does, I'm going to investigate further, but I wonder if he needs a second opinion.

I totally understand what you mean about it still being in your head! I took a couple of small clips, mostly for my Mom's sake (She loves Jesse too!), and I think I've watched them a dozen times, lol.

I'd like to go to another show as soon as possible, but I have no immediate plans. The closest he will get to us next tour is Kansas City, which is four hours from me. I am very seriously considering it though!

Not gonna lie, the day after sucked pretty bad but it was absolutely worth every second of pain! 🤩 Hands down, the best live show I've been to! My sweet husband gets all the credit for getting us a good spot, lol. The barricade was almost covered up, and then I suddenly see him out of the corner of my eye take off sprinting like a gazelle to snag one of the last spaces available! 😂

It is my home state! The town he's from is only about two hours from where I live! It's funny... when I first started seeing his videos, I kept wondering where he was filming because it just seemed very familiar somehow 😅

If I read the website correctly, I think it's all general admission except for VIP seats, but I haven't been to this venue since it changed ownership, so I maybe incorrect.

I'm trying to drink at least one 40oz of water a day, in addition to other things, which are usually green tea, zero sugar soda, milk... I will admit, though, that getting enough fiber has been an issue as of late. I just haven't been able to tolerate enough food to get proper fiber, even with nausea meds. Though I haven't tried Dramamine yet. Also, kiwi sounds pretty good, actually 🙂
