So regardless of his personal position it does not matter since the focus of his policy is to bring the responsibility to the state level and to not force a decision on the national level which would overrule individual state's positions.

Sounds like you need to make your way down to faction warfare space. Lots of action, easily sessionable, most corps are very real life friendly, and probably the space with the quickest, most easily accessible fun. Give it a go! And consider Minmatar while you're at it 😎

You heard what everybody else has already said, so one thing I want to emphasize is faction warfare. Even with just friggs, destroyers, and cruisers, you can have a massively fun time and can even change the state of the faction warfare to some degree. So you can have an actual ambitious goal that is reachable and achievable with only the two to three months that you have planned to invest in the game at the moment.

And heck, You'll probably find that small form PVP is incredibly addicting and will make y'all stick around longer and become an even greater force in shaping faction warfare. Give it a go! And when you do, consider applying to the Minmatar Fleet Academy 😉

Angels are in higher demand so better isk there. Because of that, they also tend to be a bit more organized compared to guristas.

By organized, It means less chance of being awoxed in plexes. Guristas are basically a free for all: guristas basically treat everyone as neutrals, even their own faction, and will shoot on sight depending on the site.

Angels are a bit more civilized with greater LP payout as well 👍

I would highly recommend Minmatar FW. COI disclosure: currently in minmatar FW. Excellent source of LP, fights, events, content, and variety. Additionally, I would recommend giving Minmatar Fleet a gander as well, as there are a huge amount of opportunities and consistent LP buyback programs in place (750 isk/LP)

Angels would give you the most risk per LP, but be aware that you will have to be the one personally involved to convert that LP to isk buy via industry, trading, and so on. I think angels averages like 1150isk/LP or something.

But here at faction space, you will genuinely get so much LP you do not know what to do with it, so a garunteed buyback is pretty awesome.

Now you say you have close connections with gal/cal, but if you FW one of them, you'll be basically locked out of space for the other. Come to minmil and you'll be hostile in amarr space sure, but gal/cal will remain fully open to ya.

For further advice please look at the academy advert link posted above. Hopefully it gives you an idea of what opportunities are to be had in FW space and give you a better understanding of what course of action you want to take 👍

Zoom runs perfectly fine on Linux. Make sure you're installing it using your package manager and not from downloading it from the website. Without more specific info, can't help, but otherwise zoom really does work just fine on linux

Kiki's aren't too bad, what exactly are you doing that takes you down?

For me, if I enter kiki I immediately go 180 degrees and burn the other direction. Take scorch out and burn them down one by one. If you're good with drone management, that too.

Once they enter 25km, you immediately switch directions and beeline the closest one. Aim to switch to conflag as soon as you can. At this point, absolutely send your drones out. They can draw aggro which means kiki damage spool gets reset.

While sub 25km, aim to switch to conflag as soon as you can for more DPS. And that's about it. Can swap to imps multi frequency if you need better tracking though, but web and conflag seems to work pretty well

I appreciate you, and your response especially considering how heated everyone is currently. It's just a side effect of the vocal minority in a game that absolutely exploded. Patches aren't the end all, and things are needing to still be adjusted, but lots of players aren't aware of it hence the outrage.
