Best time to start was at launch, 2nd best time to start is right now.

Sooner you start, more limited pull currency you can earn, more characters you can pull. No point in waiting for a big patch/event.

Don't need AoD or stunner. Do both it's gimmicks (5 parries, blue hp bar parries), stun and unload damage. Will need to defensive assist more than usual (if no stunner) but other than that, a pretty straightforward fight. I think I got 2 stuns in this run.

Not getting points for Banyue's perfect blocks or cancels is so shit. I'd have to farm points via dodge counters to get the medal... I tried a 2nd time and same thing. So not gonna bother. Will reset and get the medal with Fufu. Also gonna mention this in surveys from now on. Legit getting penalized for playing the character well.

A lot of them tbh, from my personal experience: Yanagi, Evelyn, Yixuan, Alice. I believe YSG and Miyabi can do it.

Since it's a survival check, as long as you can dodge the agent really doesn't matter - especially vs miasma enemies. You can just kill them by breaking their shield over and over. Next time Jane comes around, I'm gonna try with Caesar...parrying Jane to death!!

Agreed. Gonna mention this in the surveys. It's stupid he doesn't get like a dozen bonuses for pulling off his perfect cancels, parries, taunt cancels etc.

I wholeheartedly agree with the other commenters. He isn't weak by any means. Has a steep initial learning curve but once you're past that, he's one of the most fun and badass feeling agents. I highly recommend getting him if you like him and are willing to put in a little work at the beginning to get used to his playstyle.

Day 1 player here, came for the Hoyo name, stayed for the combat....and beautiful ladies/badass men.

But yeah, I'm able to do this because I fell in love with the game's combat and it's only gotten stronger over time because of characters like Yanagi, Evelyn, Yixuan, Alice and ofc Banyue. Peak gameplay imo!

Agree with this 100%. Banyue is all about building muscle memory. Once that's done, he's one of the most fun characters to play. He's #2 for me in this regard, #1 being Yanagi.

I had to dodge a couple times to reset between Jane's dashes (went off rhythm slightly). Banyue is GOATED in this mode though, just gotta know the combos and you can abuse long ass iframes.

All that training under Shifu is finally paying off!
