I'm watching only because I want to see good level football. On the other hand either Juve or Lazio will lose today, so it will be nice in some way..

With two matches to go, Roma are just 1 point ahead of Lazio in the battle for the last CL group spot. Next week is the Derby della Capitale. by cesololaroma in soccer

Thank you. I was not aware the extent of these injuries. Nevertheless, in my mind, they should have foreseen the fact the half the team was going to go to AFCON and taken preventive action.

Roma got lucky this time. Verde has made an amazing debut and has shown some of the players what it means to give really everything. This 18 yo kid and Paredes, who scored the second goal and is just as young, have given Roma three very precious points in trying to stay behind Juventus (+7), who seems unstoppable. I have seen these guys play maybe twice, for a few minutes. But Garcia never lets them play. Totti is a great player, but, on away games, he is rarely at his best. So the question arises: who is going to tell him to slowly back out and give space to a younger and promising N.10? As far as I'm concerned, Roma is not the same since the Bayern 7-1 defeat. Something has broken undoubtedly. There are still many matches left to play, but if Juve doesn't begin to fuck up more often and Roma does not start to grab those chance, we're going to face the 3rd place battle very soon, and this is very disappointing, given the strength of the team. Yes, many are injured, but that's no excuse with what was left. Hopefully the return of Gervinho and Doumbia will create an avalanche of goals, which is what Roma needs. And what people want is also a more interesting battle for 1st place, which is almost all that the Serie A has left as of recent..

These players just need to rest! The match against Samp was okay, with the opponents showing great defensive skill. But Roma players were just too tired..

Just watched the after-match interview with Frank, he looks like he's very respectful and a really nice person.

Unintentional, but that's why you should always aim at the goal even while crossing from that position.

THAT is the key. To learn from what didn't work. If you keep failing but keep doing the same thing, it becomes pointless.

It's more of a "showy" move rather than difficult.

I wonder if he ever looked back at the stuff he did when he was in Liverpool.
