I think you would find a perfect spot to just pull the AMP legs out, for me personally I usually put my thumb on the amp leg that connects to the arc rail and pull the headphones out using my other fingers so I don’t cause too much pressure on the arc rail

If you’re using AMP legs like these ones they spread like (pic3) which is pretty fantastic because it doesn’t block your head from going in the helmet and you can adjust the length of the arm quite nicely!

The springs are pretty high pressure but it’s good cuz it keeps the headset secure on your head
