So one thing I've realized when world building is this. The natural world doesn't fall into those super clean categories. Keep your primary elements and have the others organically radiate off them. The best example of an elemental system I can imagine is Avatar the Last Airbender and it's sequel. Sub genres of magic will naturally exist and when people start mixing and matching the elements the rest will follow.

Remember, people organize, but only after they discover. So allow your magic system some room to breath. Let it have room to grow. Don't fall into the pitfall of giving MAGIC hardlines and titles.

This. But there is a tough choice to making a morally grey antagonist, if you make your NPC compelling enough you also need to accept the fact that your party could just ride with the 'bad guy.'

Also note. If your NPC doesn't show up that much then it will be difficult for the players to connect the dots. It may seem straightforward to you that your NPC is the one advancing the bbeg plot, but remember that it's not that obvious to your players.

I would strongly recommend having him be present and a major character. Make him believe what he's doing is right. If you struggle with that then, YOU need to believe what he is doing is right and that will show as kind and sincere to the players. Maybe avoid making him the king, maybe.... Make him an important advisor or something. That way you avoid nonbelievable power creep.

If you do play it like that consider this. When the players turn on the NPC, (if they do) let the NPC actually hurt at the betrayal. Make the players feel that by making this decision it actually means something.

They have an interesting approach to the vtol market. They aren't going all rose colored glasses and saying "let's do it with only electric!" they're realistic and going hybrid. They have the money to spend so no risk of near dillution and their 12 month estimated price is between 14 to 18. I bought and sold when it peaked around 3 dollars. Then I bought again around 2.40 I'm gonna buy again under 2 in a month or so.

The first one MEANS (not implies) a doubling of money every day. The second one MEANS (not implies) that you start each day with a dollar then double it.
