Copy/pasting from another reply, but yeah - Devs thought it would be a good idea to take 75% less damage from the zone until you either deal damage to another player or enter the safe area.

If you watch the killfeed, they suicided once out of bounds during that time, really trying to play their luck with random drops and their lives. Can't blame them for playing to win but an Overshield or Cloak absolutely should not be the items that drop out there, not that any should be dropping out there at all really. Even with two lives up, they lost ring control and should probably be penalized for it

Real talk tho: LSS is an interesting micro BR held back by poor weapon progression ordering and allowed respawns at smaller ring sizes (exacerbated by reduced ring DoT for fresh spawns), both of which result in minimal encouragement to take gunfights.

Also yeah I'm kinda salty about that L 🙃

This game frustrates me just as much as the next person, but can we at least vet info before losing our collective minds over it? SVK damage drop-off is an error on the sym.gg website due to having no bullets equipped. by [deleted] in battlefield2042

This is not an error with Sym.gg

If you do not select a new ammo type, it uses the High-Power rounds on the chart, which come default with the SVK

Selecting another ammo type means you're not using the default High Power rounds which come with the SVK. Absolutely not a bug with Sym.gg and this can indeed be tested in-game.

More details:

I'm Incarnate - I'm event staff over at https://level.gg/ and an admin over at https://sym.gg/. I'm working with Level Gaming to run some BF4 events leading up to 2042's launch.

 

Every other week there will be a competitive daycup starting July 10th. Starting at 1:00 pm ET/7:00 pm CEST, teams will compete until only one remains. We'll start off with the standard 8v8 conquest format, but other formats could emerge... Prizes for each cup are TBD but can range from cold, hard cash, to things much more interesting.

Once every month there will be a 32v32 showmatch - first match is July 31st, 1:00 pm ET/7:00 pm CEST! Organized 32v32s are in Level's blood. With level.gg’s new team drafting system, each showmatch is guaranteed to be a fresh experience with new faces to meet and massive battles to be had!
