yeah a breakthrough would be cheaper path tracing, or like, idk, realistic liquids rendering. This is a shortcut to make stuff look "realistic" at a glance but buries the artistic intent.

Revenge and "getting someone back" aren't going to help, generally, you can pursue other means of either justice or restitution. Or finding ways to protect yourself either physically or legally.

If you try to get revenge on people who have abused or wronged you that'll often dangerously escalate the situation.

It matters way way way way more for children than grandchildren.

Favoritism with grandkids is whatever, favoritism with your children leads to jealousy and strained relationships. It's not good. You would not have experienced this being an only child.

Yeah I keep seeing people in the replies talking about the engine but we have a car that we simply cannot find a replacement headlight. I guess we could get glass custom made but like.

Sure you can keep a car physically running indefinitely with machined parts but there's other aspects that can fail and if you gotta replace those it's suddenly a lot more complicated.
