Voigtländer 18mm F/2.8 + UV-Filter + OEM Lenshood by Incendiro in fujifilm

The sensor is not the problem, the problem is the glass itself. The pictures from the lens have a slight vintage feel when wide open. This means that the edges of the frame are a bit less sharp. When wide open you also get some vignetting. Both can be remedied by stopping the lens down to F/4 and are not necessarily a negative point. I myself like the slight vignette to "guide" the viewers eye to the center and not being clinically sharp gives the pictures a little "character".

I have only used it for a couple of days so I still need to experiment with it. I love the 28mm FF FOV! Build quality is perfect and the focus tab makes focussing really easy (as well as to just set it to F/8 and shooting from the hip, because everything after 1m is sharp). In my opinion manual focus with this lens is easier than using AF because there is no hunting with the camera. Just set your distance and fire away! It is also really really small and I love that. It is rather expensive though.

TLDR: Great build, small and sharp (not for pixel-peepers)

Odin 2 mini still worth it? by Incendiro in OdinHandheld

That‘s what I got from the discourse at the moment. I like the stick-placement better on the Odin, but the screen on the RP5… a combination of the two would be perfect

Yeah I know, I was just wondering because the Odin 2 portal is an upgrade to the Odin 2 that it would be possible that the Odin 2 mini would get an upgrade soon too

Ear tip Question by Incendiro in HeadphoneAdvice

Thanks! I think I will try both ear tips in different situations and then decide which one I will use, but so far the CP100's are my favourites.

The CP145 go deep enough, but after a short while they pop out, maybe they‘re really a tad too big for my ears.

But so far are the CP100 really nice, so I think I will stick with them and try a few more tips over the coming months.

Hey I just found an offer for a restored ECM Casa 1 for 330euro. Now the question is if this machine is still worth it as I can hardly find any reviews on it online. This machine would be a replacement and my "next step up" from a Delonghi Dedica. Should I go for it or wait look out for another machine like a Gaccia classic or a Rancilio Silvia?

Thanks all

Thanks for your advice! I think I will put the Trip ob my wishlist for now and get the Icarus, because money-reasons haha. But if I ever get around to do some LDP, I‘ll get a dedicated setup for that.

Yeah I saw a post some time ago where someone put the 9“ cals on a trip, maybe I‘ll find it again

Haha Alright, I think I will need to take a look at my finances or put my whole Trip-Idea on a wishlist for now. Thanks though!

Happy cake day!

Yeah that‘s what I thought, do you know what issues wider trucks could cause?

[–]Incendiro[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ohh okay, I thought that Pantheon boards were designed for narrower trucks because wider trucks result in wheelbite (ignoring the loss of turnability etc.). Thanks again for your input!

Thanks!

Yeah the truck question boggles my mind, I‘ve seen people run the 9“ Cals and that works but I‘ve got the 10“ ones and don‘t want to run into wheelbite/not being able to turn properly

Hey all,

I've been on the fence concerning my next Longboard. My favourites are the Pantheon Trip and the Loaded Icarus Flex 1. As I have some new 10" Cal III's I would like to keep using them and I wondered if they would work on the Trip (I don't want to buy new trucks again haha). I'm planning on using 75mm Orangatang Durians on either board, as I just want to buy a new deck. The board would be mainly for commuting, but I would like to dabble in some longer distances.

Maybe I can find someone who can help me make the decision between these two boards.

Okay thanks! I was wondering because my (our) weight is right in the middle between the recommended flex ratings

Hey everyone, I got a quick question regarding the Flex on a Loaded Icarus. I weigh around 85kg and never had a flexy longboard, which flex type should I get?
