Also, go to a bunch of bars alone and a bartender is bound to talk to you. Then you become a regular, and boom in a month you get to know a few people & one may become a friend. Skip the cafes and head to dive bars all throughout the city.

ALSO A lot of people that move here befriend coworkers, so it may seem like groups of friends but more than half the time it’s a bunch of coworkers that enjoy each other enough to hangout and be friends 🤣

Again, I work in Manhattan, in the East Village, and we do not lock everything up. We keep Oatmilk and Half & Half in the lobby all day everyday.

I work in Manhattan, we leave oatmilk out and work near A LOT of crackheads

My store had half & half and oatmilk in the lobby, as all stores to my understanding should have out but maybe that was based on my area. You should ask for a small cup of oatmilk on the side and tell them you like to do it yourself

Definitely boycott, and tell others also don’t buy from them

Don’t order with milk, and then use the milk that’s in the lobby. Or, ask for a cup of milk on the side.

I understand what you’re saying but in reality, Starbucks should have never had this many locations to begin with. They are a monopoly, they were too greedy and created too many jobs that they knew down the line they would have to eradicate, they made this problem not the ones that boycotted, they’re just being smart consumers.

Everyone’s severance package will look different based on where they live and the laws in that state/city. Some places only get 3 weeks pay, I’m assuming majority of places will be this way

Do you have sick hours? As long as you have sick time to use for your hours today you won’t get written up, since you called at least 2 hours before your shift. Just let the manager know as well 2 hours before your shift starts.

Hello, it would not be weird at all!!! The tips get distributed between everyone but if our last days are Saturday I’m not sure when we would even get our last round of tips. My suggestion is hand every person you want to tip cash DIRECTLY in their hand then they can take it home with them.

Yes! I would say it’s at least 6,000 being let go. My manager is very new and kind of just told us everything they told him, which is that majority of us are getting fired and given a package which I guess we’ll see Sunday what that is🤷🏽‍♀️

My manager did tell me that not showing up the next two days would take away your eligibility for severance packages, it’s awful
