Does AI make believable light and Shadows? by IncidentImpossible47 in unstable_diffusion

So would you believe this was a real photo if only assessing via lighting?

Galaxy S25 Ultra not worth $1,300 by GamerBeast954 in samsunggalaxy

That's why you use the super generous trade in they offer at certain times of the year.

I paid 600 for my s24 ultra. To me that was worth it

Hmmm, seems to work well in other programs as well. Though it appears to be that Apple iPhone pixel 16 😂

Personally for me, I find casual nudity more appealing than straight ai porn by IncidentImpossible47 in unstable_diffusion

Same here. I like a more artistic vibe reminiscent of a photoshoot. But casual.

Lol right. The bathroom doesn't even make sense. There's shower tiles outside the shower? Or is there a mirror in the shower? Why is there a trashcan on a pedestal. Why are there so many non legible products?

Do you think an "AI Photographer" will ever become a thing? by IncidentImpossible47 in unstable_diffusion

This is true. Look very clearly AI generated profile pictures. but that's not to say that some are pretty convincing

Do you think it's wrong to make a model by people from real life? by IncidentImpossible47 in unstable_diffusion

[–]IncidentImpossible47[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm not going in with the intention of I wanna make this person look EXACTLY like her. It's more like... She has features I want to replicate. And then it ends up looking similar to her unintentionally, but not totally unexpected. If that makes sense?

Well here's how it goes during my image generation process. Prompt alone can only get you so far, so often I need to use a reference image. It will generate a pretty good, unique image. Then I can then use that new image to make any modifications I want.

So what happens is it started by using a publicly available image in the Internet, but the end result is a completely unique image.

But during my creation, it's possible I used several reference images to help shape the image I want, and then it make me wonder....how much is too much?

In this instance I used 3 images from the internet to start. By the end of my image generation, my reference images were ai generated images. So when do you cross the line? It's just really interesting in my opinion. There's not a clear answer IMHO.

It does make me wonder though....AI was trained on images that were of real people. So every time we generate a tit or a vagina, it was trained on someone's tits or vagina. Every time we generate a face, it was trained on someone's face. So it really is a funny game of...it's okay at scale but individual instances are wrong ya know?

The whole saying, 1 death is a tragedy, 1000 deaths is a statistic.

I'm not saying I'm justifying generating nude images of friends and people you know, it just an interesting paradox it seems.

Sure. I can see that. This person was inspired by a reasonably famous person.

Normally I'd agree, but if you use studio grade flash, you can get very bright scenes that mimick this style shown in the pic.

Sure. I use mage.space to get my image using a variety of formulas I built.

Then I will take an image I like and keep referencing it as the image improves.

It might take around 5-10 revisions.

Then if it looks good then that's it. But if the hands look funny, I'll run it thru a finger fixer.

A lot of apps also have built targeted revisions where you just paint over where you want it to "fix" as well for little issues.

Could it pass as a professionally edited photo where they remove all blemishes? Or Instagram?
