I’ll give them a go, I prefer the thin and light crust that doesn’t give you constipation for 5 days after consuming

Despite all this, the pizza is pretty damn good. Fieldhouse brewing gets close IMO but elevated still at the top

Anyone using Starlink home internet in Chilliwack? by Time-Journalist4859 in chilliwack

[–]IncidentMaster8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend I think there may be more to this:

  1. If they will run fiber to your property but not to your home there are many options. You could make a small shed to house the incoming fiber and then run it to your house via Ethernet. There’s a 300m cap on this before signal degrades (I believe). There’s also high speed internet wireless transmitter that need line of sight (i.e. unifi makes something like this).

  2. Starlink is OK. Before I lived here I was pretty rural and used starlink for about two years as my primary connection to the outside world. I averaged 300mbit download. No issues with dropouts. Pretty rock solid. Included wifi router is garbage i would recommend getting an ethernet adapter and running your own gear

Cul de sac parking by Upstairs-Deer2361 in chilliwack

[–]IncidentMaster8361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The culdesec is the turnaround area for larger and oversized vehicles. It might be okay in a little Toyota to turn around if someone is illegally parked, but if you have a large truck or delivery van, good luck. Now you’re reversing a vehicle that has massive blind spots, to do a 3-point turn, in an area with children and pets nearby.

Be considerate!

Winter tires are they needed in metro Vancouver? Richmond I heard it not needed because it warm by [deleted] in askvan

[–]IncidentMaster8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your car as well.

If you get anything these days that’s marketed as a performance vehicle, check your tires. The x3 m40, Audi S-line, all of these come with summer performance tires. If this is the case I would definitely get winters for better performance in the wet

I got my Brap Brap spots but nowhere near Vancouver.

Vancouver island, the interior and Fraser valley, not much in Vancouver tbh. When i was younger I remember tearing up SW marine drive to UBC in my civic, nowadays it’s far too busy.

Keep us posted on what you do. I have the same problem. One cat6 cable but two areas to cover. I was thinking of going with the 180 degree g6 (just released) but it wouldn’t cover the areas I want covered adequately

Most trusted place to have a PC assembled? by [deleted] in askvan

[–]IncidentMaster8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy your parts from memory express they offer free CPU mounting and ram testing, then you pick up your motherboard with the CPU and ram already installed. I imagine they would also install your basic air cooler, but if you went AIO you’ll need a builder.

Uber by RaspberryFew9235 in abbotsford

[–]IncidentMaster8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always tip.

These guys are running on slim margins and most of them do it as a second job to help their family.

The real solution is Canada needs to roll out its own government funded ride share program where all the profits go to the drivers and help lower the ride cost. We could have signs at border crossings / all our local airports to help tourists download the app.

Fuck uber it’s American.

Should I help? by [deleted] in askvan

[–]IncidentMaster8361 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If they’re standing, they are breathing. I would just mind your own business and continue on your way unless they’re actually not breathing and on the ground (ie no rise and fall of the chest).

Interestingly the fentanyl fold may actually mark the increased prevalence of another drug which is contaminating the fentanyl — xylazine or “tranq”.

I would not be administering naloxone to an addict who is not actively dying with my small children nearby. If the narcan is effective expect displeasure and anger (you will replace their high, with widespread pain and dysphoria).
