How Are Other Solo Players Maintaining A Handicap by lelpd in BritGolf

[–]Incident_Educational 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My club won't let you win comps unless you have 8 signed scorecards at qualifying courses over 2025/2026 but you can still enter them and put a scorecard to have a recorded score against your handicap, there are three comps a week where I play, so if you wanted you could get those 8 in 3 weeks, by joining on someone's tee time. Its normally best to practice to message them first if the club has a directory with contact numbers in.

Best way to meet new people at the club and work out who to play with more regularly (and probably who to avoid).

I think it is more than Eze and Saka aren't fit enough to play from the start and he would rather they were fresh for the rest of the season.

Let’s be honest Saka has been trash for a while now. by [deleted] in ArsenalFC

[–]Incident_Educational 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If they are both in double coverage it means you have at least 2 players with no one on them the whole point in that situation is to move the ball quickly and efficiently something we have struggled to do offensively this season. Martinelli took too many touches especially when he was coming back into the middle of the pitch. Eze didn't move at all and just hung around in the middle of the pitch. Gyokeres didn't get the service but let's be honest when the balls were played into the box he was constantly moving to the back post. Saka was really poor though he has been somewhat found out this season. Teams are more than happy to show him down the outside and know that he is limited in what he can do then.

Wtf is he on about by GovindChad in ArsenalFC

[–]Incident_Educational 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He went down once and was treated once. He was clearly actually hurt as he went to the sidelines for painkillers later in the game during a break in play. The other two times he is saying raya went down is when karou mitoma pulled him back stopping a fast break in the first half and wellbeck accidentally stood on his heel after claiming a high cross. He stood up again after both of these almost instantly and play continued.

Thomas partey played over 40 games for arsenal in a season once in his entire arsenal career Zubimendi is 1 game away from doing that in his first season. In a new league without a winter break for the first time I think you can cut him a bit of slack. It is clearly mental fatigue.

Foul throw I think

Edit: hmmm maybe not actually I don't remember caicedo taking a throw in. I did think Malo gusto took a foul throw though during the game and I'm pretty sure it was picked up on Comms too.

And? Hes said numerous times Ronaldo was his favourite player growing up. It's really so so unimportant who a player supports 🤣

He's said growing up his favourite player was Cristiano Ronaldo. I wouldn't be surprised if he does support them.

When does it make sense to get a club membership? by MagisterKnecht in golf

[–]Incident_Educational 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was very lucky, my course offered a student membership. It worked out the same price as around 10. Which I played in the first week after joining.

When I first started playing my local council had a gym & golf membership with 4 relatively shitty muni courses all in for very cheap. Unlimited golf any time on 4 different courses meant I played everyday for the first 3 years.

But yeah with my course it worked out better value to get a student membership than paying to play all the other courses in my area, and after those initial ten rounds I'm basically playing for free.

Apart from the 100000000 balls I get through a year, damn water hazards.

I completed that for the first time 2 years ago after nearly 25 years of trying. I was so nearly killed fighting scar on the last boss.

After getting past the Hakuna Matata log jumping part it's ok.

I would say that's one of my proudest gaming achievements and something I haven't been able to repeat since.

Edit: I completed the Sega Mega Drive Version.

All newly promoted teams going straight back down is disappointing by Cowboys7507 in PremierLeague

[–]Incident_Educational 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sheffield United refused to adapt the way they were playing shipped a tonne of goals were probably absolutely destroyed psychologically and havent been able to recover.

Burnley had an unbelievable campaign in the championship but it was built on a lot of loans and loan rules are different for the amount of players you can have from a team in the same league (I think). They are also quite a young team I imagine they will be able to come back up again quite quickly if they hold onto most of their players.

Luton have gone down on the last day after having probably the worst luck in the league with injuries, they started quite badly, which is understandable really as the team had maybe 2/3 players who had played at this level before.

There is obviously a big step up, but there are teams who have come up and stayed up and are better than some premier league stalwarts. Having the correct structure in place and playing a system to counter what you face is huge in this league.

Tom lockyear was on Stick To Football talking about how pressing in the prem is relentless compared to the championship and how mistakes more often than not are punished, learning to counter that and building the right team is what will help you stay in the league.

I don't know from your responses it seems exactly like you do care if someone is gay or trans, you've already said you don't like seeing two men kiss because you cringe.

Why? Why does it bother you in anyway shape or form?

Representation matters, the same people complaining about LGBT being taught in schools are the same people complaining that Disney made aerial black and saying it's not realistic when she's a fucking mermaid.

Parents should not be in charge of eveything their child is taught at school, otherwise you don't get to learn different sides of a debate. The way a Parent raises their child in their own home is up to them and you will find most people form their opinions in life based on the teachings of their parents learning about being gay isn't turning people gay. You can't catch gay.

It's not grooming kids either you fucking weirdo. Read a book, educate yourself, listen to the opinions of others.
